Audi Celebrate The Golden Globes With Nominee Anna Paquin

This event was held for Anna Paquin, but I was in lust Dita von Teese.

The burlesque star stole Anna’s thunder looking exquisite wearing a baby blue corset dress with a cone-shaped bra from Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring 2010 ‘G Spot’ collection.

I think we are going to see a lot of this “underwear as outerwear” trend popping up on the red carpet.

Let’s pray it’s continues to be tastefully done.

I’m very much appreciating the hairstyle change and those stunning blue earrings.

Yet another BDOTW contender. It’s getting packed already and it’s only Monday.

Anna Paquin looked nice and neat wearing a fitted navy sheath Gianfranco Ferré dress, accented with a lavender sash tied to the waist.

Her sash was complemented by a lavender crystallized Gianfranco Ferrè clutch and Jil Sander platform heels.

Dita and Anna maybe worlds apart in the style stakes, but they both look fantastic.

Stylist Liz Goldwyn wore a sexy Gianni Versace LBD, with criss cross leather straps with jeweled buckles from the Bondage 1992 Couture collection.

      As always…thanks

Both look great, but I have to admit that Dita has me transfixed – that robin’s egg blue looks so amazing on her

    • Fashion Critic January 11, 2010 at 16:09 #

I don’t get who some are bored of her. I adore her.

      • mol January 11, 2010 at 17:12 #

Me too – adore her. Maybe others are bored with her consistency; she experiments, she pushes things, but always within her range, which I personally like – why annoy us with stuff that won’t look good on her? I like that she self-edits and wish more would do that.

    They look both gorgeous!
I love how the Jean Paul Gaultier gives Dita such an amazing figure.

Btw, Dita said on her twitter that she went together with Liz Goldwyn. Do you also have a picture of her ?
I’d love to see her Versace safety pins dress.

Dita’s hair change is really nice, love it, Not feeling the shoe choice. Dita is always fashionably on point. Modanna started this underwear as outer wear trend with the blond ambition tour and i think this trend is here to stay, that was in 1990.

I love Dita, she always looks so perfect. That dress is amazing, the color is stunning against her skin.

  6. robbie January 11, 2010 at 17:21 #

dita, perfection as always the colour on her skin is perfect.

anna, she looks great shame she looks a bit p*ssed off.

liz, she is a stylist????? she looks a mess.

    • mm January 11, 2010 at 17:55 #

I so agree on Liz, she needs a trim, and the lip color is horrid on her.But i like her dress.

      • mol January 11, 2010 at 19:23 #

I love her dress and agree that her makeup is totally off.

  7. dressaddict January 11, 2010 at 17:25 #

So Liz Goldwyn is a stylist, alright, but those shoes are damn ugly!

    • Dora January 11, 2010 at 19:41 #

The shoes aren’t half as bad as the make-up is.
But I do love the dress.

  8. Sydne January 11, 2010 at 17:38 #

Agreed about Dita. I attended the event last night and could not stop staring at her. It was even prettier in person!!

    • Sydne January 11, 2010 at 17:49 #

I also loved Dianna Aragon (she’s on Glee, not sure if you have that over in the UK yet). Did you see her feather skirt? So fun!

      • Fashion Critic January 11, 2010 at 18:08 #

That hasn’t started here yet. I think it starts tonight actually

      • Danika January 12, 2010 at 10:26 #

I agree Sydne I loved what Dianna Aragon wore to this event , it was so cute!! Anna Paquin looks great here very elegant

    • Fashion Critic January 11, 2010 at 18:08 #

Dita can do no wrong in my eyes…

  11. lara January 11, 2010 at 21:39 #

oh dita, so stunning. if anyone was made for the “underwear as outerwear” trend, its her. she’s a goddess and please please BDOTW!!

  12. Laura January 11, 2010 at 21:42 #

Dita has the personality which makes the underwear as outerwear look work better on her. And I love that blue.

Anna looks lovely, and that sash makes the look pop. Something’s too disheveled about Liz’s look.

  13. Lala/S-R January 12, 2010 at 02:51 #

    Dita…WOW!
    BDOTW!

  14. Jasmine January 12, 2010 at 10:01 #

Going to cause some controversy here. I think Dita’s dress is horrendous. The whole look strikes me as incredibly tacky. It looks like the sort of foul dress that used to be sold in a vile store (the epitome of chav) called Clobber in a shopping centre in Croydon. All that cling, plus the bra-style straps equals cheap and nasty looking. Horrid. Sorry, FC.

    • Fashion Critic January 12, 2010 at 10:28 #

Dita and chav in the same sentence…how could you….LOL :D

  15. AnotherFashionIcon January 12, 2010 at 11:30 #

    It’s not an 80′s Versace dress……..it’s from 1992 bondage collection….

    and ITS SSOOOOO COOL!!!!!!!!

  16. AnotherFashionIcon January 12, 2010 at 13:30 #
