HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Welcome back.
Those who have been following me since this beginning will know that this February will be my 3rd year of blogging.
It started back in February 2007 during the Oscars, which this year takes place in March due to the Winter Olympics.
Before the Oscars we kick off with some major red carpet action on Wednesday at the People Choice Awards.
The first biggie to look forward to is the Golden Globes on January 17.
Other events I’m excited about are the BAFTA Awards, the Goya Awards on Valentine’s Day, as well as the Costume Institute Gala on May 3.
I’m hoping celebrities will do justice to my favourite red carpet maestros Marchesa, Elie Saab, Versace, Oscar de la Renta and Gustavo Cadile.
I often have high expectations, but this year I’m only going to start off with one wish.
Please can the fashion gods grant me just one wish, which is to see this stunning Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2010 gown glide down the red carpet.
Preferably at the Oscars, but the Golden Globes, or SAG Awards will suffice.
PS. RCFA will be a Jersey Shore free-zone.

There wasn’t any Awards season dresses in the BDOTY lists because the stars played it too safe last year and the dresses were forgettable.

I haven’t watched it only seen clips on the Soup and E News and they are the worst reality stars I have ever seen.
I would rather watch The Girls of The PlayBoy Mansion and before I do that I would have to rip out my eyes with a spoon.
I love the Soup (if you like it you should watch Community-it stars Joel McHale and it’s really funny!)
But about Jersey Shore, same here! I’ve never seen it, just 1 clip made me shiver with fright at what’s making it on the air these days.

at the first moment i thought it is the same gown kristen stewart wore,just in an other colour. i don’t know if i like the gown or not…i think kristen stewart ruined the gown so i probably don’t like it because it looks quite similar to hers…..

I love this site.I saw that Oscar De La Renta dress on an episode of Rachel Zoe’s show, but it was in gold.If it wasn’t that dress it was very similar and by Oscar De La Renta,amazing! Im also looking forward to the up coming award shows and hopefully some gorgeous dresses! Happy New Year!

That dress looks like a Taylor Swift dress to me. I would like that on her so much more than the Reem Acra she wore to the CMA’s.
But I would love this on someone older. Penelope Cruz would look great in this because her hair and skin would work well with the color.

I think the dress would look amazing on Penelope Cruz or Sarah Jessica Parker. For some reason when I think of Oscar de la Renta, I think of SJP. Anyways, bless you for making this a Jersey Shore free zone. You should have made it a The Hills-free zone as well lol. Best wishes fof 2010 =)
