Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Do not adjust your screens yes this is Lady GaGa without sunglasses and wearing something other than just her pants.

I’ve gotta say it, the girl scrubs up well.

This picture was taken during a taping of “Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009″ which airs tonight in the US at 10pm EST on ABC.

I love that she smartened up for Barbara wearing a black Chanel Fall 2009 boucle skirt suit WITH all the trimmings so many people opt out of wearing.

GaGa even adds more bustle to her ruffled shirt, plus a jeweled brooch to add more fou fou to her look.

I’m guessing she toned down her look as not to give poor Barbara a heart-attack.

I hope I can find this interview on YouTube.

Others who will appear on this show include politician Sarah Palin and American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert.

New Look’s Spring 2010 range is set to storm the High Street.

Whenever I go to Press Day’s it just reminds me how great the British High Street is.

My favourite range was Blush. A gorgeous mixture of nudes, peach, creams, pale blue and grey. Delicate materials were key with lace, lace and more lace.

I loved the soft layering in this range, which featured a mix of textures from fine knits to sequin embellishments.

The Mash range has a harder, more military feel to it and seems very much Balmain-inspired.

There is a whole lotta khaki here along with epaulettes, distressed denim and combat trousers.

I just love the distressed look, especially slashed t-shirts (without the Balmain price tag!)

Next came Idol, a range for the rock star in you. The palette here is dark, mostly featuring greys and blacks. Studs and Chains are a-plenty.

Glam Athletic did exactly what it said on the label. This was sports luxe at its best. I loved the aztec prints in this range and thought their use of bright yellow and florals was just love.

Evan Rachel Wood first wore this Gucci dress back in June to Hollywood Life’s 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards and I love what she’s done with it.

Bare legs, check. Red nails, check. Cinched in waist, check. Great accessories check. My only complaint would to be to say she could have picked a more exciting shoe.

When Pixie wore this dress to the Q Awards in October I wished she’d left her tights at home.

I’m also not completely sure what’s going on with the flowers in her hair?! However, this dress does really suit her rock chick vibe. I just wish she’s styled it better.

Shakira was last to wear this Gucci number in November to the Bambi Awards and it’s left me in two minds.

I think she wore it well, teaming it with simple accessories and knee high boots but I just don’t understand those tights! Am I missing the point or do they scream ‘ice skater’ to anyone else?!

For me, Evan Rachel Wood wins this style battle. She’s worn this sequined number with the boldness it deserves.

I’ve been suffering dying with the flu all week, so I have nothing but complete admiration for Sarah Jessica Parker, who braved the cold night air to show off her fabulousity.

The beautiful actress looked stunning and goosebump free wearing a fuchsia L’Wren Scott jacquard mini dress to tonight’s London premiere of her new movie “Did You Hear About The Morgans?”

I love the colour on her. It really brings out her eyes.

The fit, like any L’Wren Scott dress is exquisite.

What I also love is her stunning S. J. Phillips reptile necklace which snakes around her neck.

She adds even more glamour to her look by wearing Charlotte Olympia platform heels.

Big poufy side swept hair completes this fabulous look.

Even though SJP did brave the cold, she didn’t have a coat too far away.

She kept warm wearing a luxurious forest green L’Wren Scott Fall 2009 velvet coat, which was accessorized with a fuchsia floral detail and a matching hat which was tilted to one-side.

Designer/Stylist L’Wren Scott was also at this premiere.

The 6ft 4in former model opted for patent ballet flats with a tuxedo-style dress from her own Fall 2009 collection.

The dress was accessorized with a stunning brooch and a black clutch.

After a few questionable choices, Leighton Meester tones things down a tad wearing this Cushnie Et Ochs marble print dress.

I like the dress which doesn’t scream “I’m not Blair Waldorf”, but not too keen on the make-up.

I’m still expecting more from Keri Hilson.

It was pointed out that the main problem with her look was her hair, which appears to be sorted out.

For a casual event this ensemble including an Alexander Wang jacket is fine, but I’m would like to see more from her next time out.

Katie Cassidy stood out wearing honeycomb gold and black mini dress.

Tights, black peep-toes and a black clutch completed the look.

Her make-up is flawless here.
