18.12.09 Runway To TV Show

On Wednesday night’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” show, Sarah Jessica Parker talked to Jimmy about ‘Sex and the City 2′ and her inquisitive son.
The star dazzled wearing an Emilio Pucci Spring 2010 mini dress, which she wore with fishnet tights and black patent peep-toes.
This is such a cute look and totally wearable for someone of SJP petite frame.

Ladies love Lagerfeld at the moment as Uncle Karl’s Chanel Spring 2010 collection is going down a storm with actresses this week.
First Diane Kruger, then Demi Moore now SJP.
Sarah wore a beautiful crocheted ensemble with a cropped cardigan accented with red and blue floral appliqués for her appearance on “The Today Show” with Matt Lauer yesterday.
Her look was paired with Chanel Spring 2010 striped tights and Nicholas Kirkwood heels.
This is my favourite look from her this week.

Rihanna totally redeems herself after wearing those hideous Jean Paul Gaultier dungarees recently.
Rihanna is like a fashion roller-coaster.
One minute she’s up, the next she’s down, and a some points you just want to be sick.
Here she is on the up at yesterday’s taping of ‘Friday Night with Jonathan Ross’ in London.
I absolutely LOVE this Alexandre Vauthier Couture Fall 2009 dress on Rihanna.
See RiRi you can look edgy and sophisticated at the same time without looking like a hobo.
The exquiste nude sequin gown looks as stunning on Rihanna as it does on the model.
In fact I think I like it better on Rihanna, as the dress drapes better with the thinner white belt.
Rihanna has worn these white ankle strap heels on several occasion, and now we know where she got them from as they were presented on the runway during Vauthier’s Fall 2009 Couture show.
Rihanna’s Stéphane Rolland look was one of my favourites this year, but this look trumps that one and is a worthy BDOTW contender.
This is now the second time Rihanna has worn a look from this talented designer.
Jonathan Ross is very funny, so I can’t wait to see this interview which airs tonight at 1035pm on BBC1, or you can watch the interview on BBC iPlayer tomorrow.

These bunny inspired headbands by Michel Maison have been causing quite a stir.
It will come as no surprise that Lady Ga Ga wore this look but we’re so used to seeing her theatrical looks now that it hardly seems shocking anymore.
Both Lily and Lady Ga Ga wore these ears with the built in veils across their faces.
Lily was on stage so I can kind of forgive her.

The Olsen twins wore these headbands to the “Opening Ceremony Flagship Store Opening” in Tokyo back in August.
As FC has recently found out, I love these girls and in my eyes, they can do no wrong.
However, on this occasion I’m a little lost for words.
I don’t like this look, I never have but I suppose I expected them to wear them at some point or another.
If they were going to channel this look anywhere then Tokyo was the right place as kitsch pieces like this always seem to go down well in Asia.
So what’s your verdict on these ears?
A cute accessory or a major fashion no-no?

These black mini mouse style headband with a veil can be purchased from Browns Fashion for £270 / $438.91 / €304.81

Sorry Rachel McAdams, but Blake Lively upstaged you on your big night.
Rachel should be first on this post, but I just can’t get passed how A-Friggin-Mazing Blake looks wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2010 mini lace dress, with gold Christian Louboutin glitter pigalle heels.
Most actresses tend to water down runway looks or line them if they are a bit see-through.
Not Blake Lively.
She opted out of the lined runway version to follow the recent trend started by Madonna, Lady GaGa and Carine Roitfeld by showing off her panties.
She may be showing off too much for some of you, but she looks amazing to me.

Rachel McAdams wore a black jumpsuit with a Jasmine di Milo black bustier consisting of chainmail roses from the designers Fall 2009 collection, with Catherine Malandrino Spring 2010 high waisted wide leg pants.
This is a very chic and sophisticated look yet I feel like something is missing.

Ashley Greene has fallen in love with those Sergio Rossi heels we’ve seen worn by Kristen Stewart, Claire Danes and Malin Akerman.
The nude heel works perfectly with the VBH envelope clutch she used to accessorize her white column Andy & Debb dress.
I love her antique style earrings and that divine pink lip colour.

*Sighs*
A white lace dress with thick black tights?
Really?
Eva Mendes you KNOW you are better than this.
