It must be Awards season in Asia, because here we have the amazing looks from another Asian awards ceremony.
Yoon Jin Seo blows me away wearing a red Chanel Resort 2010 off-the-shoulder gown.
I’m glad she added the black fur stole, because I wasn’t too crazy about those chiffon sleeves.

Kim Ha-Neul wears a grey Christian Dior Spring 2009 dress we’ve seen a few times before on the red carpet at Asian event.
Most notably by Monica Mok at the 28th Hong Kong Film Awards.
Kim accessorizes her dress well with silver earrings and a matching clutch.

This Blumarine Fall 2009 dress is quite dramatic and very difficult to pull off so I’m surprised to see it worn on this red carpet.
Son Ye Jin pulls off this black and navy strapless dress surprisingly well.
The gowns shredded skirt and awkward bustier didn’t overwhelm her.

Kim Hye Soo continues the growing love for Salvatore Ferragamo on Asian red carpets.
The actress must have been checking the keyhole detail on her Fall 2009 dress often as it looks like a wardrobe malfunction was just waiting to happen.

I love this shade of pink on Han Ye-Seul.
Her off-the-shoulder Amsale gown with a rosette detail on the bodice looks very much like a gown from Valentino’s Spring 2009 collection.

I’m desperately trying to pick my chin off the floor.
May I just say wow to Kim Ok-Bin in her Max & Logan fuchsia gown.
What a stunning look which is draped with an equally stunning pink fur stole.
That twisted detail on he skirt reminds me of Eva Longoria’s Atelier Versace gown.

Ha Ji-Won’s also gave me goosebumps.
Her off-the-shoulder look is by Vivienne Westwood.
I love the contrasting colours, thigh-high split and those stunning gold strappy sandals.
How can she be so beautiful with minimal make-up? *sulks*

Park Bo-Young does it again.
Last time out she looks like she was floating on a heavenly cloud, this time she gives us tweety bird.
The beautiful actress glided down the red carpet wearing a gorgeous canary confection by Korean designers Max & Logan, which could look quite costumey on some but stunning on Park.

This is a lot of gown for the tiny actress Kim Min-Hee, but she makes it work.
I love that jewel detail which breaks up all that black on her Amsale gown.

lol @ the tweedy bird comment.so true…
all i can say is WOW!…..these Asian ladies really bring variety to the red carpet. My favourites are Ha Ji-Won and Son Ye Jin.the gowns are hard to pull off but they did exactly that…and perfectly
Thanks for posting!
wow, stunning!!!
They all look great.
I ‘m pretty sure that the Blumarine dress Son Ye Jin wears was worn by Taylor Momsen at her character’s cotillion on Gossip Girl.
yes at the ball. It is the same gown
These women are spectacular!! I mean every last one should be BDOTW. I am so loving Park Bo Young and Kim Ok-Bin equally. love their hair and accessories.
Hello great site, please let me know the dress that kim ok bin is wearing
sorry I don’t know.
ugh! do they ever have a bad day? all of them are pure perfection
i love all the asian red carpets. the women are always more daring with their dresses (though the makeup is usually the same). thanks so much for featuring them and please keep doing so
will do
Wow, that Spring 2009 Dior collection is still going strong! It was my favourite though, so am just happy seeing perfect justice done to it.
Park’s dress is a tad too short *you know where*, but she is so cute holding her clutch like that.
All in all, FAB red carpet, my favourite has to be Kim Ok-Bin, without that fur stole, that plum dress is beyond gorgeous.
surprisingly, i think the best gowns of this wear were showcased on the asian red carpets lol
im mostly admiring Son Ye Jin for choosing the blumarine dress, it was one of my best collections in terms of vibrant colors & daring cuts ..
i applaud how chic and sophisticated these ladys look, i think the secret is them being simple & not trying hard to pull a look they just cant ..
that is the secret as you say, they don’t try to hard.
It’s all effortless.
Great eye candy posting F.C.! ! My favs are Ha Ji-Won (love the dress, clutch and shoes), and Kim Min-Hee.
These Asian women sure know how to dress! Glad to see them featured on your site.
again, all of these women look amazing. seriously, they should open up a school of how to look gorgeous all of the time on the red carpet.
park bo-young for best dressed of the week!! <3
the most wonderfulthing about these asian ladies is that they all look so happy, like they are having a great time! no one looks like they are striking a pose, or being boringly serious. it’s so refreshing to see such genuine smiles on the red carpet.
Fc-I’m going to say it babe..for me this is the best dressed event of the year!they all look stunning they all look classic but they’ve taken delicious risks which really work. Why do asian women wear clothes so well?I guess it’s their perfect posture and inate sense of style..merry christmas fc looking at these beautiful dresses is a lovely early present x
Merry Xmas to you too.
They are divine to look at. Can’t wait to find more events like this
Who designed Kim Ok-Bin’s gown? Such loveliness. Do you have the picture of the bodice too?
i find asian women beautiful and very dignified.
all of them look fab. esp. park bo young, love her shoes. bdotw
Kim Ok-Bin took my brreath away! this red carpet was total eye candy, thanks FC
Wow, Park Bo-Young for BDOTW?
I swear BDOTW is going to have about 50 choices this week.
it’s gonna be hard that’s for sure
they all look so fascinating!
they sure really k now how to dress in a sexy way yet very elegant, fashionable, and stunningly beautiful.
They all look drop dead gorgeous, but it’s a shame so many animals dropped dead for thier fur stole’s. When will people realise that fur is not an acceptable fashion statement? Sorry to be so negative but the fur totally ruined Kim Ok-Bin and Yoon Gin Seo’s looks for me. The other women all look stunning.
I love the way Koreans dress for red carpet events.
They all look amazing!
Oh and I forgot to mention! I vote Park Bo-Young and Kim Ok-Bin for BDOTW!
Ha Ji Won was my favorite of the night!
Kim Hye Soo had a dress change since she was the host/mc for the night.
Do you know the designer of the dress?

No
Kim Ok Bin’s & Park Bo Young’s dress are from MAX & LOGAN. They’re Korean designers, i guess. Many celebs have worn their dresses for award shows.
I forgot Kim Min Hee’s…:P She’s wearing AMSALE 2009 wedding dress.
Kim Ha Neul should be on BDOTW list !!
I can confirm that Ha Ji Won is wearing Vivienne Westwood. Park Bo Young and Kim Ock Bin are wearing MAG & LOGAN. Han Ye Seul and Kim Min Hee are wearing Amsale.
The press finally released info about the designers! I found photos of the original dresses… let me know if you want them!
Thansk Sue. That would be great thanks
The pink dress you say might be Valentino looks like a clever quote on Korean National Dress. That whole more Empire than Empire line, flattening (hiding) the bust. Would not work on me, with my DD bust!
A few looks are very ill-fitting here.BUt Kim Ok-Bin and Yoon Jin Seo are standouts for me
Son ye jin and ha ji won for me…
The Max & Logan brand is pretty hard to track down on the internet. Any leads, FC?
no sorry
