We talk so much about Cheryl Cole, we often forget the other members of Girls Aloud.

Nicole Roberts made an impressive appearance on the red carpet earlier this week, and here we see her street style isn’t too bad either.

With my freakishly long arms it’s takes me forever to find the perfect winter coat, but Nicola doesn’t appear to have that same problem.

The singer was spotted outside the Mayfair Hotel in London recently wearing this tan check Luella Fall 2009 triple-pocket Crombie coat, which will definitely last a few seasons.

With her trademark Chanel quilted clutch by her side, Nicola accessorized her coat with a pair of leather gloves and a pearl bracelet.

What a spiffingly fantastic English country girl look.

I can’t find Nicola’s exact tweed coat, but I did find a grey tweed version from MyTheresa.com and Urban Outfitters, or a black wool version from farfetch.com.

Aww, you have long arms only because you are tall. And that cannot ever be a bad thing. ;)

LOL…it is when you can’t find anything to fit you.

Thank god for the Tall section in Topshop.

I know people criticise her for dressing older than her age, but I just can’t help but love it. She pulls it off fantastically. A lot more interesting than Cheryl Cole, for sure.

I am going post craziness right now, but I love everything I am seeing.

I don’t know much about Nicole Roberts (I’m from USA), but I love this look because it looks very English Rose, which is usually only seen on a few models. (Kate Moss, Agyness Dean, and Lily Donaldson).

That’s what I loved about this look too, the English Rose feel to it.

Isn’t the coat perhaps made with shorter arms – because it looks kinda short on the model too?

I don’t think it suits her, she looks older.

Leighton Meester wore this for her photoshoot with Glamour UK and it looked way better on her because they were going for a 60′s feel in the photo shoot.

i love this look from HAIR, pearls, to ballet flats….it’s refreshing from the barbieish looks we get from the rest of GA

It’s uncanny to see this here! 1st because we’ve been trying to help Luella, and 2nd, because I didn’t even know who exactly Nicola Roberts was until recently: I was shooting @ the Dress Me Up event @ Topshop, AND THINKING OF YOU because it’s all about celebrities and their dresses!

& there was one of my favourite dresses (will link) that was NR’s custom made from a tour, & I was so curious about her.

re: the sleeve thing, as the first comment said, I guess it’s cause you’re tall & I never mind sleeves being a bit short, because bracelets & gloves are my favourite focus part: exposing a wrist looks great, as shown in both these shots. I’m sure it was cut short deliberately – it’s very Jackie Kennedy circa 1963.

anyway, sorry for such a long comment AGAIN but I do love this look & think she’s great. I’d skip the skinny jeans & ballet pumps with this – or make them black for a more Audrey Hepburn look, but I think that would look great with just black tights & pumps, too.

Oh! Nicola’s dress (available to rent – info on this post):

scroll down, you’ll see I’m talking about it. (the light turquoise green one with all the little tassels). I don’t work for Topshop: just spreading the word because everything goes to charity for the aged, and it’s such a lovely idea!

Hope you’re well, your blog is one of my absolute favourites!! xoxo
