Lucy Liu holds the joint 2 position in my affections alongside Thandie Newton, so it’s always a pleasure to see her on the red carpet.
On this occasion she wore a black Lanvin drape detailed belted dress which she makes look uber chic.
I love how she swept her hair to one side to show off the drape detail.
This is why I love Lucy, she thinks of the little details some – Monica Cruz – wouldn’t consider.
Her look is paired with a black clutch, and YSL heels.

This maroon dress with cut-out details could’ve been quite disastrous, but Christina Ricci makes it work as she smoulders on the red carpet.
In saying that I’m not so crazy about the shoes, but thankfully that they are not ankle boots.

Lucy Liu looks fabulous! What is distracting me with Christina Ricci look is that shoulder bag. I dont like them ever on the red carpet. She looks really good otherwise!
it is quite distracting…you’re right
I’ve really liked Christina Ricci’s looks the last few weeks and this outfit is no exception. I have to say that at first I didn’t notice the cutouts because of the way she is standing. I was worried she had starved herself! The shoes could definitely go though.
who makes this dress? i love it
I like both of these looks. Christina Ricci makes that dress look good.
Lucy Liu looks nice, i have not seen those YSL’s for a while.
what is she wearing as a bra? stripper’s stickers that shine through?
I think you need to do a who wore it better between lucy and audrey tautou… I would go with lucy for the class but audrey did bring fun to the look.
It would be interesting to see what others think.
it’s already written and will post next year
