Monica Cruz attended a benefit auction hosted by Catherine Deneuve and Moet & Chandon’s in Madrid last night.

The petite younger sister of Penelope Cruz walked the red carpet wearing a Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 dress with poufy sleeves and a bell shaped skirt.

As much as I like this dress, I’m not particularly wowed when I see it on Monica.

Firstly she should have worn her hair back. At present her hair is competing with her voluminous shoulders.

Also I really wish she had added a touch of colour to her look.

She opted out of wearing both the pink sash and the pink pom pom which appears on the runway in the right shoulder.

Could’ve been a great look, but falls a little flat for me.
