Runway To “Sydney Theatre Company Welcome Dinner” – Cate Blanchett In Armani Privé

How do you top a Thandie Newton post?

With a Cate Blanchett post of course.

The Australian actress has come out of hibernation to flaunt her fabulousity.

She was in New York last night as Giorgio Armani welcomed her and the Sydney Theatre Company with a dinner at Armani Ristorante.

She looked so elegant wearing an indigo Armani Privé Spring 2009 one-padded-shouldered dress with a gathered tasselled detail on her hip.

I love the modification, it fits her style so perfectly and proves why she’s the perfect muse for Mr Armani.

The actress is in New York to star in the play “A Streetcar Named Desire” at the BAM Harvey Theater.

Some of you have told me that you’ve got tickets to see the play which runs from 27 November -20 December.

It’s going to be hard to pick her and Thandie Newton for Best Dressed. I would Nicole Kidman at the AMAs, but I don’t see her making it.

Cate looks fabulous! She hasn’t been in hibernation though. She was in Streetcar in Washington, D.C. I saw it there a few weeks ago. It was probably the best play I’ve ever seen.

Such a great color. I have a Black Halo dress that I think is pretty close, but maybe more purple-y. Hmm…

For anyone who has tickets to see Cate in Streetcar – she is mind-blowing!! She kicked off the play here in Sydney and session tickets were only available to Sydney Theatre Company subscribers. It was completely sold out within a day of it going on sale. Best performance you’ll see in this lifetime =)

Oh, Cate Blanchett, I love you.

How can she look so gorgeously fawless. She age with so much grace, she looks like eternal. Divine. And never one mistake, or any bad picture…

    Seriously, is she real ?

Wooow!! That woman is pure perfection. I saw her magical performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington last Thursday. Its the best performance from her and Liv Ullmann directed her really good.

    I love you Cate ;)

    WOW.
Cate is perfect, as per usual.
Such a beauty, gorgeous figure and an innate sense of style + she knows how to have fun with it. I can’t imagine how anyone will top her this week.

I attended the spring Prive show in Paris and adored that dress. I also had the pleasure to sit near Kate Blanchett at the July show . She is even more stunning and luminous in real life which cannot be said for most celebs when you meet them in person -Megan Fox for example.

Always the best, always unrivaled!! Long live Queen Cate!! :)
