Who would have thought little Cheryl Cole from Newcastle would be the one start a buzz about an up and coming designer.
We saw Cheryl wearing a David Koma Fall 2009 dress on the X Factor a few weeks ago. Then Beyonce Knowles wore a dress from the same collection to the recent MTV EMAs.
Last week Rihanna wore this David Koma Spring 2010 orange and black dress when she performed the first ever concert on the Royal Caribbean’s ‘Oasis of the Seas’ cruise ship in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
These 3 ladies have taken David Koma, from David Who? to one of the most talked about designers in the UK in the space of 3 weeks.
Rihanna paired her dress with Alexander McQueen Fall 2009 thigh-high boots.

Anyone else thinking Silk Specter from The Watchmen?
I love it. She pulls off David Koma’s look better than Cheryl and Beyonce. It even works with her atrocious hair color!
The attitude is there, she pulls it off – just wondering about the cruise ship concert, sounds weird for such a big name……

Nice to see Cheryl has the ability to introduce unknown designers. It does work well with her ecentric fashion ‘taste’
Not liking this that much. She can do better.
Rihanna is getting awfully close to becoming a fashion victim as the clothes are starting to wear her. Apologies in advance as I know this will be controversial but she also does not have the legs to pull off many of these looks.
I think Chezza’s stylist should be thanked more than anyone!
