I am a Topshop Girl.

From my clothes, to my shoes, to my 3 for £7 pants my closet is full of Topshop pieces.

I tend to use Miss Selfridge as a walk through to get to Topshop, but that will all changed once the Spring 2010 collection hits stores in January.

At the Arcadia Press day last week I was most interested in viewing the Topshop collection, but found myself being seduced by Miss Selfridge.

The collection didn’t include any rock chick pieces or bold shoulders which was so very refreshing.

They had various themes within their Circus backdrop including boho/festival chic, 20s flappers looks, and there was a black and white section which included vests, poufy skirts and adorable dresses.

The nude pieces were divine with their layers and ruffles. The light embellishments gave them a vintage feel. These pieces were very cute and very girlie.

Nicole Richie would love the strapless floral maxi dresses and jumpsuits, which would look great at V Festival or Glastonbury next summer.

Accessories played a big part in this collection. From pearls to fun pieces with ice cream and Jammie dodgers as charms.

We were served with mini burgers, creamy risotto, champagne and Boy George was on the decks.

I do agree with Topshop. It’s great, but it’s so boringly trendy at times…especially with the 80s attire.
