Last night Eva Mendes attended the New York premiere of her new movie “Bad Lieutenant”.
The first thing that came to mind when I saw Eva Mendes wearing this Donna Karan Resort 2010 white shirt and black skirt combo was Carolina Herrera.
Not because Eva looks like her, but because a white skirt paired with an interesting skirt is very much a look I associate with Herrera as it is her signature look.
Unlike Herrera, Eva Mendes wore her classic white shirt without a bra.
What brings this look together for me is Eva’s black choker, without it the look wouldn’t have been as interesting.

I like- but I am wondering if what appears to be the third button open is a wardrobe malfunction.
she looks AWFUL! the dress was ok on the runway, but it’s just horrid on her.
It does look better on the model.

What a mess! I don’t like anything, the skirt is too long, the open shirt without a bra is tacky, boring black shoes and boring hair.
The only interesting thing is the choker.
I have to agree with amelia. This look just doesn’t work for the beautiful Eva. It seems like it would work better for someone like Diane Keaton (obviously w/ a few more buttons buttoned).
I don’t like it too! the skirt sits way too low and hence look too long. Looks so much better on the model!

I agree! Not a great look for Eva – she needs to tuck the shirt in a bit mre and do up a button or two. Looks as if she might fall out at any minute!
This looks so much better on the model. Eva’s boobs are popping out. I understand if she buttoned it up she might look like an uptight librarian, but wearing it high waisted and with a more tailored fit in the skirt would’ve prevented that or she could’ve put on a bra so it doesn’t look like her boobs are two birds going south for winter while also falling out of the top.
i usually like eva mendes style but this is a down fall for her, it’s flattering to her body nor does it fit as it should on her. and she had too much cleavage out for my liking.
Im wondering why she decided to go braless and did she leave it that open on purpose?
