The theme for Saturday’s X Factor was “Movie Week and Dannii Minogue very much looked like a movie star in her Ralph & Russo angelic one-shouldered gown.
I loved the sexy thigh-high split, the sweet-heart neckine and the bejeweled detail on the waist.
Dannii has been very faithful to Australian designers thought-out the X Factor, so you won’t be surprised to know that the design duo Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo are Australia.
After being edged out to the last seat on the judging panel on the X Factor last week, Dannii was back to sitting next to Cheryl.
Hopefully that will be the end of the musical chairs.

On Sunday nights show, Dannii wore a J’Aton Couture bustier dress which was wrapped in a layer of tulle.
It was another interesting choice, but it’s the asymmetrical hair I just couldn’t get on board with.
When Dannii cut her hair before this season’s X Factor it was the best thing she ever did as it made her stand out, but this style feels so lopsided.

she looks great, but i have to agree with you on the hair.
the j’aton dress reminds me of rebecca twigley at the brownlow medal awards, who also wore j’aton.
What a gorgeous woman. She looks smashing in both these, although I too was distracted by the asymmetrical bangs even before I looked at the dress or read your comments. LOVE how the embellishment at the waist of the R&R dress looks like celluloid frames for Movie Week!
Yes, the lopsided hair misses the mark, but her fashion choices are once again amazing. LOVE the tulle dress – it could have been nondesrcript dress, but has great interesting detail!
Both dresses were beautiful. The hair is a bit of an issue. With a simple and/or symmetrical outfit, asymmetrical hair can work. However, the asymmetrical bottom with the asymmetrical hair is too distracting and the focus of the style loses something.
But overall, great choices. The first one is my favorite of the two. Very classic with a jolt of spice by adding the slit.
Gorgeous! Adore the neckline on the Ralph and Russo dress and the J’Aton dress is stunning (as are all their pieces) and yes the white detail is similar to that on Rebecca Twigley’s dress:

Danni always wears the most stunning dresses, but like you I’m just not a fan of the hair.
I actually like the hair! It’s quirky but still chic. And it looks so glossy. I absolutely love the lipstick she was wearing on Sunday night – does anyone know what make/shade etc it is?
