What a week.
OK, I have been less Monica Geller with the amount of people in the poll to cover your requests.
May the best dress win.

For me, it’s between Leighton and Camilla. I voted for Leighton because she’s all around fabulous.

Talk about hard….
This week for me boiled down to one thing: who utterly OWNED the look in my eyes.
I was torn between Diane, Leighton and Camille, because they all have the attitude and pose in their photos that shout out “This is my look,” like Giselle with that Versace dress at the Costume Institute a few years ago.
I came down to Camille, because she is completely fierce… a softened hard to pull off look, with the smile and confidence to pull it off and own utterly.

Kate Waterhouse looks divine, I can’t believe more people aren’t voting for her! My vote goes to her
[Reply]
omg this is hard !!! i love beyonce and i love freida so to choose between them is hard enough without adding in katy perry’s surprisingly girly marchesa and charlize who is always divine!
in the end i voted for B! the dress was made for her!
have a great weekend FC and Eleanor.

Voted for Freida Pinto: I’m in LOVE with Valintino SS’10 collection.
Looking forward to seeing the pieces from on the red carpet.

mmm the hardest choice in what, 2 years of BDOW?! ![]()
my fav are Katy Perry, Leighton, Eva and Diane; BUT I really dislike Leighton’s shoes and Diane’s necklace so its between the others two..
Eva wins for me
love your site, keep on with the fab work!
ciao from florence

It is the hardest ever… you are so right

Goodness me, this week showcased the talents of my fab five ladies - Diane, Camilla, Freida, Leighton and Charlize.
I’ve been staring at my screen for so long wondering…but in the end it came down Camilla as that look is hard to pull off.

I have to go with Katy Perry in Marchesa. STUNNING. Beyonce close 2nd.
My Top 5 would be:
1. Katy Perry
2. Beyonce
3. Thandie Newton
4. Sophie Ellis
5. Kate Waterhouse

Out of the twelve, there are ten I would be happy enough to see win, but the singular standout for me this week is Freida Pinto - my eye just keeps going back to her - lovely and soft, looking so easy and free.

This is the first week I have like everyone!
Usually I’m like what is wrong with these ppl for putting so and so in. Sorry.
LOL But this week they were all fab but looking at everyone side by side I had to give it to Katy and over the to pand tacky as she can be at times.
[Reply]
For me it was between Thandie and Katie. The dresses are both devine , buti don’t like Thandie’s Hair and shoes so Katie wins by a hair’s breath. Lovely collection this week!
Welcome to Eleanor! Laid my fears about you neglecting the site, to rest. Two heads (and hands) = more coverage of fabulous fashion worldwide. Yay!!!!
Long live Redcarpet-fashionawards.com!!

So many gorgeous dresses (love them all!), so difficult to choose! In the end I’ve gone with Kate Waterhouse, she looks so polished and elegant, I adore her outfit (and she’s an Aussie!). But any of these choices would be would be a worthy winner.
[Reply]
It’s very hard to make a choice this week! And that’s great! I think this will be one of the hardest choices so far. Because, so far I could, in most cases, guess who will be your BDOW, FC. This week - honestly - I have no idea!
Camilla Belle looked so fresh, Beyonce looked like she was born with the Versace gown, Katy Perry and Leighton Meester looked so elegant and sophisticated… Uh-oh! This is hard!
All in all, Camilla Belle was the right person to wear Alexander McQueen and she looked amazing! Fresh, young, interesting, edgy but soft at the same time and great color too! My vote goes to Camilla.

Georgina Chapman should of been included as well as Eva Longoria and Lauren Remington Platt , They could of taken Thandie Newton, Freida Pinto, or Eva Mendes’ spots. I don’t get the hype over those 3 looks, specially Freida’s. It’s nice, not bad but not great either. Charlize is repalceable as well this time.
[Reply]
I’m torn between Camilla and Beyonce! But I thought Leighton, Katy, and Diane looked lovely this week too, so hard to choose…
[Reply]
This was SUCH a hard week.
I spent ages trying to choose between Leigton and Katy, but in the end I voted fo Leighton. I think her make up was flawless.
[Reply]
are you kidding me with this week’s poll? it’s too hard, i agree with Kim, I actually like everyone! haha. but I had to go with my love camille, she owned a dress that could have owned her. my second choice was beyonce because she also just looks stunning.
I feel bad for you this week, good luck picking a winner!
[Reply]
All these women look incredible.. but i have voted for Kate because i think she is probably the only one who didnt have help of celeb stylists and brands throwing their clothes at her…but well done to all and please Freida come to Australia!!!
[Reply]
Diane Kruger in Chanel Couture for me. But I’m impressed by Beyonce, and I love Eva Mende’s with all those colors. Leighton and Thandie looks gorgeous, as always.
[Reply]
can we have twelve votes please FC?
i feel guilty for not voting for the rest…any other week and the would have had my vote but it had to go to Mrs Jay Z
a quick note to ALL celebs: this shows you can do it, can we see more like this more often? please
[Reply]
Thanks for your quick note, as it’s so true

I personally dont think Frieda, Emily and Charlize should have been included…and judging by the votes, people agree with me.
Emily’s dress was nice, but her face (make up) and hair just wasn’t cutting it.
Frieda’s shoe choice is so BORING for such a dress.
Charlize’s makeup was too gothic for such a soft dress. I dont even have a problem with her sandals. Just the hair and make up which also ages her.
I believe some of the women at the Latin Music Awards were overlooked. esp.
Marlene Favela- everything about her look was FLAWLESS, unlike some of the contenders for BDOTW.
Voted for Camile, btw.
[Reply]
I think you are being unnecessarily critical, or just being critical for the sake of being critical.
Had I not put in Fredia or Charlize people would have complained and you know it.
With regards to the ladies from the Latin Grammy’s lets just be realistic, as great as they looked none would have got more votes than any of the 12 I have added.
[Reply]
I honestly wasnt being critical for the sake of it. Why would I do that?
I just believe my comments have merit, and the poll results seems to enforce what I said (the 3 people I criticised were the bottom 3).
I just remembered reading the comments from the post on Charlize and the general concensus was that it was not a good look on her. I was just suprised that she was added.
And I dont necessarily think that the Latinas would not have gotten any votes. Being fairly- unknowns has never stopped anyone from noiticing great fashion. (eg. Katie Cassidy)
P.S. I noticed that you tend to pick on my comments. Have I ever said anything offensive to you, or angered you in any way?
[Reply]
Normally every week, someone moans about the poll.
The one week I manage to please everyone, it was only you that seem to take issue with the list.
Yes the 3 you criticized were in the bottom 3, but like I said if I hadn’t put them in there would have been more complaints that just yours. It’s about creating a balance and not just pleasing one person.
I never said Latina’s wouldn’t get votes…geez now you are just putting words into my mouth.
Comparing Barbara Bermudo to Katie Cassidy on Melrose Place is not nearly the same.
I don’t pick on people’s comments, it just means we don’t agree….Clearly.
Toughest week ever!!! I really couldn’t pick. If I had to choose a winner it would be Beyonce in Versace. That dress is amazing on her. The best I’ve ever seen her look. I love the Marchesa dress but something wasn’t believable for me on Katy Perry. I guess because these two are formal gowns they take first and second place. However, I love Diane Kruger, Eve Mendez, and Emily Blunt. I thought their dresses were magnificent and any other week would have stood alone!!! Great week for fashion.
[Reply]
Too bad Mariah didn’t make it, not for the look itself but for the upgrade.
On that, I will have to vote for Kate. She looks very classic yet updated and contemporary.Emily also looks good in Basil Soda but Charlize was a real disappointment for me.
[Reply]
Great contenders this week, but I have to give it to Camilla Belle. She’s look so youthful, cute, and lovely in a very fashion forward design and pulls it off effortlessly. Katy Perry and Freida Pinto for runners-up.
