One thing you can guarantee on the red carpet at a Latin ceremony is plenty of colour.
The ladies didn’t disappoint.
Lucero was the host of the show gracing the red carpet wearing a purplicious Angel Sanchez Resort 2010 one-shouldered gown, with a red trim for added detail.
I wish she’d worn the gown with the trim around the neckline folded up like on the runway, but I’m guessing her interpretation was to show off her cleavage.

Barbara Bermudo also wore an Angel Sanchez Resort 2010 gown from the same collection.
I much prefer Barbara’s rich coloured blue one-shouldered gown as it feels more regal.
Her hair was slicked back with statement earrings completing the look.

If this was a face-off actress Marlene Favela would win hands down in her David Salomon Spring 2010 gown.
The gown caresses her curves, giving her a stunning silhouette plus I love the volume on her ruffled shoulder detail.

Eva Longoria walked the red carpet, and also presented an award at the ceremony.
The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress was sparkling wearing a typically gorgeous Zuhair Murad Resort 2010 bronze and gold strapless beaded pencil dress with a fringed hem.
As gorgeous as her dress is, Eva’s outshone by the other ladies on this red carpet.

Kika Rocha glows in an electric blue Notte by Marchesa Fall 2009 strapless gown with a rosette detail on the waist.
Simply exquisite, with a beautiful smile to match.

Laura Pausini shunned colour for a beautiful black Giorgio Armani Fall 2009 strapless dress accented with a jeweled detail on the bodice.
Love the dress, but I would’ve loved her look more without the necklaces.

This Oscar de la Renta Fall 2009 purple gown is very popular on red carpets around the world. I think this is it’s 4th outing.
Singer Natalia Jimenez is the latest celebrity to wear it.
For me this dress is made more interesting with the runway belt.

Amaia Montero looked oh so cute wearing a white draped Diane von Furstenberg sequined gown, which had a black sash tied to the waist from the Resort 2009 collection.

There is a lot of green going on with Alicia Keys’ Kaufman Franco look, but I think it’s more green goddess than green goblin.

I agree, the Natalia’s dress needs the runway belt. Lucero, Barbara, and Marlene look great. And Eva would have looked great. I mean it is a nice dress and looks good on her but considering she didnt get the bright colors and long dress memo she looks a little out of place.
She should’ve read that memo
Such a shame!
I really love all the color. These women look beautiful. I am not liking Alicia’s look. I am not feeling the gown nor the color on her.
Hi, there is something wrong in this post, the girl who called here Kate del Castillo with a dress of Diane von Furstenberg is a spanish singer: Amaia Montero. (sorry if my english is bad :S)
thanks the photo agencies got it wrong.
Thanks for the correction
Just wanted to say the lady you stated as Kate del Castillo is Spanish singer Amaia Montero
thanks. As you know I’m relying on photo agencies to get the names right.
Unfortunately they get it wrong now and again.
Thanks for the correction
Oh and sorry but AK looked like the neon version of the jolly green giant.
Something about the boob and waist areas doesnt look right.
Great coverage! Loved the dresses and the pictures!
The Diane Von Furstenberg gown is amazing!!!
I loved every second of it.
So awesome that these ladies aren’t afraid of color! But I do want to run up to Alicia Keys and pull her dress up a few inches before it falls to her waist. And turquoise really doesn’t go with lime green…
Big ugh for me on Alicia Key’s Kaufman Franco dress. On the other end of the spectrum, I do love the Angel Sanchez gowns, but I just don’t feel that either shot of Lucero or Barbara Bermudo showed us the amazing structure of these pieces (especially Barbara’s gown).
I love Eva’s Zuhair Murad, but have to agree that she seemed out of place amongst all the gorg color and long gowns….still, she looked so great!
Overall, I like Kika Rocha the best – the amazing color of her dress, its simplicity and good fit impress me.
it’s a shame but every time I looke at this beautiful violet Oscar de la Renta dress I can’t help reminiscing how hideous Jessica Biel looked in it…
shake it off honey…shake it off
Amaia Montero is a spanish singer, not an actress
Marlene Favela is gorgeous .. I mean her dress is wonderful, and she wears it really well!
I dislike everything about Alicia Keys’ look.
Alicia Keys is wearing the most unflattering possible for her. Big green mess, terrible.
I really love Amaia, and I love her look here. It’s perfect for her, simple but makes her point.
Also loving Kika Rocha, amazing colour for her.
alicia looks awful
i loved italian singer Laura Pausini amazing Armani Dress, although shes a little bit fat
What it the womans name that had a sexy red tight dress that almost showed her butt ?
She was a presenter…
PLz help me
I LOVE LUCERO! SHE LOOKS HOT!!
