Model/actress Lily Cole walked the red carpet last night at the AFI Festival for the LA premiere of “The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus”.
I’m not sure about this one.
As much as I love the Marchesa Fall 2009 blush pink dress with embroidered leaf details, the colour washes Lily out too much for my liking.
I feel like she’s cold, as there is no warmth here so I’m struggling to love this look.
I thought maybe it was the lighting, but after looking at various pictures that is not the issue.
What do you guys think?

I think she looks good (Minus the dirty look on her face), and I absolutley adore the dress.

I love the dress but not on her. I guess partly due to her sullen expression? Her body looks good in it but the whole styling? Mehh.

agree. for me the upper part looks a bit too ice-skater on her also, and even i don’t normally like strong make up, she could have used some pop-out lipstik cause everything’s looking so plain
the runway dress looks pinker? maybe a better shade on her skin. love the dress but makes her look ill! prefer shoes on model too…

I think she looks beautiful… the dress is magnificent.
The dress looks more beige than pink on her, and it is very similar to the colour of her skin. I love nude colours but in this case the dress has the wrong shade. And what about the shoes??? Peachy pink???

Her hair is awful. She should have put on some make-up and another color of the dress. Also a necklace would complete the look.

She looks exhausted and unhappy to be there which doesn’t help sell the dress, plus the colour makes her look sallow.
the dress is lovely, i think it just doesn’t suit her well… probably because of her skin colour, she is too light pink… (i don’t really know how to describe her skin tone!) but it’s very similar, so it tells me nothing.
(i mean the colour of her skin is very similar to the colour of the dress)
I think the styling is just right, but she is murdering this dress. Could she look any more unexcited?
I was at this event and spent some time talking with Lily whom I have interviewed previously as well and she is just an absolute sweetheart. I thought she looked just beautiful and the dress was gorgeous on her. The photos honestly don’t do her justice.
