What a difference a decent dress can makes to Mariah Carey, as she has a tendency to want to wear very tight gowns that can make her look very trashy.
On this occasion she wore a Zac Posen Resort 2008 black mermaid gown and I think this is the best we have ever seen her, despite the fact that the gown has already been worn on the red carpet earlier this year.
Hair and make-up are fabulous, and she doesn’t go overboard with the bling.
BDOTW contender for sure.
Paula Patton has great legs, so she shortened her Bottega Veneta corseted dress to show them off and this modification works really well for her.
I’m not as excited about her necklace, but I do love her Jimmy Choo ‘Revere’ strappy sandals.
I love Mary J Blige, but I’m not so crazy about her Emillio Pucci Resort 2010 gown as it’s doing nothing for her.
Olivia Wilde opted for a white RM by Roland Mouret Scirocco crepe pencil dress with an asymmetric neckline and cap sleeves.
Nude make-up and accessories complete this look.
Garcelle Beauvais looks incredible wearing a red hot asymmetrical dress with Christian Louboutin glittery peep-toes.
Mo’Nique and her husband Sidney Hicks walked the red carpet together as she glowed wearing a gold shimmering strapless dress.

I love Mariah as much as the next person but I’m not feeling that dress on her or anyone else for that matter. I do agree that her hair and makeup are flawless though.
It’s the 2nd time Paula has “ruined” a look with an out of place necklace. That aside, she looks amazing. I cannot believe she’s preggers.
I am certain that Kate Winslet wore the same dress as Mariah Carey’s to the BAFTA’s.

Mariah does not look like a saussage for a change, but she does that long diva train black dress look so many times, it’s just plain boring. Nothing brings my atention to that.
Mary J. looks terrible, that dress is like a tent on her. Is she smugling someone under it?
Mo’Nique took a page out of Queen Latifah’s book and looks quite good, she scores points for being unafraid of all that sparkle. I just think it’s a bit too gold with the matchy matchy make-up and all.
