On the red carpet Alexa Chung is not my favourite person, mostly because has a tendency arrive with greasy hair and ankle boots no matter how pretty her dress is.
But when I see editorial like this, it reminds me how amazing the former model is.
In her editorial she wears a sequined red and black Dolce & Gabbana dress which shows off her endless legs.
Her Chanel Resort 2010 sailor chic ensemble is paired with a leather jacket, plus she’s also captured wearing a lace Stella McCartney jumpsuit we’ve seen on the Stella McCartney at the Costume Institute Gala and Victoria Beckham for Elle US October 2009.
The Stella McCartney picture is my favourite look.
This issue goes on sale November 3.
Here are some extracts of her interview with Derek Blasberg.
On whether she will return to the UK once her MTV gig is over: “I don’t know. I went to a wedding last weekend [in England] and when I got back here I was quite relieved to be home in New York. Whoa, I guess that’s the first time I actually said that and meant it “Home In New York”.
On making new friends: “I don’t really have any friends in America. Well, I have some friends. ….. I just don’t tolerate douche bags. You get them in England too, those people who just sort of hang out and hold coats or something. But there’s more of them here.”
On her new apartment: “I think my apartment is too shiny. I just found out that (Vampire Diaries‘ Ian Somerhalder) used to live in it. And the other day when I was in the laundry room, I heard that Michael Douglas’ son is looking to move into the building.”

I love the Stella McCartney look, but think its a bit weird with the sultry, moody looks being juxtaposed with the little kiddie items. Dunno, lol, maybe it’s just me but I think it’s a bit distracting.
she looks beautiful in these!
oh god i hate when people like her get a bit of success then p*ss off to the states *rolls eyes*
the chanel look kinda freaks me out her eyes look dead. in each of the shots she just looks like a mannequin.
