Who Wore Luella Better? Alexa Chung or Princess Beatrice

Alexa Chung pulled this Luella Fall 2007 cute floral print mini dress out of her no doubt huge closet, to wear on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.

The cute mini dress has a poufy skirt aided by a black tulle underlay.

Alexa carried a black clutch and toughen up her cutesy look with manly boots.

Beatrice may have been inspired by Alexa, as she wore the same dress a few weeks later.

On a cold October night out with her sister Princess Eugenie, she didn’t wear a coat but opted for tights to keep her warm.

Beatrice has the perfect figure of this 50s style dress, it fits her better than Alexa, plus she ran an iron over it before she left her house unlike Alexa so Princess B wins for me.

I do love Luella and it’s such a pretty dress!
Princess Beatrice may not have chosen the best tights to go with it, but I think it suits her figure a lot better and so therefore this outfit works best. 🙂
I still like it on Alexa too though- neither outfit is perfect for me but B wins for me.

    Intriniscally Florrie x

I voted Princess Beatrice mostly because of the curves issue.

i think alexa chung managed to get over that ” princess feeling” the dress has, so i vote for her

It’s a Catch-22. You have to vote for tights or ankle boots! The horror!

right. So I went for the tights.

FC you are absolutely right in your choice. The Princess wins also for me, as this dress fits her so naturally, it`s almost unbelievable. Congrats!
