October 8th, 2009

I LOVED this asymmetrical Christian Siriano Spring 2010 marine blue gown with bubble skirt when I saw it presented on the runway during New York Fashion Week, and I prayed that the wearer would do it justice.

Veronica Webb my goosebumps say ‘yes you did’.

The model paired her dress with Martin Katz jewels and a large silver clutch.

BDOTW contender for sure.

Emmy Rossum attended the Marchesa Spring 2010 presentation during New York Fashion Week, but she opted for a stunning ivory one-shouldered gown from the Resort 2010 collection which had a stunning embroidered bodice.

She looks every inch the snow white princess, I bet she feels like in this stunning gown.

JoAnna Garcia wore a scarlet red Alberta Ferretti strapless gown which looked amazing against her bronze skin-tone.

The shoes I’m not so crazy about, and the look feels like it’s lacking something, like a clutch or some jewels.

Iman is unbelievable wearing a deep purple sequined Donna Karan plunging dress.

Unbelievably drop-dead-gorgeous.  I’m almost lost for words.

I’ve had this blog for over 2 years now, and she has never faltered.   If anything she just gets better and better.

*bows*

All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey but that doesn’t mean Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis shouldn’t stick to red carpet rule number 2. “No Coats On The Red Carpet”.

Now I will constantly wonder about Natalie’s sketched Chanel dress, and who designed Mila’s LBD under her white coat.

Yeah, something is missing there with JoAnna, maybe jewelry, but I personally think her hair looks too casual, even though IMAN is sporting the samrehairdo.

Oh, IMAN. Capslock deserved because before the Naomis and Cindys and Lindas and all the Russians and Brazilians there was IMAN.

I think this is the first red-carpet event where I’ve really liked what everyone is wearing. I would rather not have the coats, but it’s kind of cute how Natalie and Mila match without being too obvious about it.

I am in love with the Christian Siriano dress… and Veronica looks amazing in it.

I know my BDOTW dress without you even posting anyone else (Kristin was going to be until the Veronica+ Siriano combination). It will have to be one of his volcanic dresses on someone else looking spectacular to upstage Veronica and even then I might pick her because the blue looks so fantastic on her. J’adore.

Everytime i look at Iman i feel like i am lazy, not doing enough.sigh. I am ashamed to say i ENVY her for her good genes. I almost hate her for looking that good. Almost.

Sorry F.C., I’m such a bad speller; should be ‘dreck’, meaning rubbish, trash…….I really just meant that Iman sparkles with such genuine beauty and also, maybe unconsciously, I was thinking of others who try way too hard and fail. I LOVE your blog!

I love the Christian Siriano dress as well, I wish it wasn’t folded at the bottom, let the dress flow and move, it would of looked even more stunning in motion with the great color palette that was chosen for the print. Emmy looks just ok, it’s a pretty dress but that’s it, the same with JoAnna Garcia (she’s the girl on Gossip Girl right?). Ooooh Iman looks great, her color cordination is ON POINT! I love when a woman wears a sequin beaded dress, and can pull it off. And with this one she definetly did that, plus the deep, strong jewel tone color sends me to heaven!!

Natalie and Mila look ok, nothing ground breaking.

Is Iman even human? The gorgeousness, it hurts! I just can’t believe the way she glows in that gown, the entire shot looks like a magazine editorial (except after seeing that Vogue cover, I cringe to compare the amazing Iman to a magazine shoot).
Wow wow wow! Okay, sorry, I’m done now.
