Lanvin’s Spring 2010 collection by Alber Elbaz was sparkly, colourful, beautiful and each piece highlighted the sensuality of the feminine form.
Draping, pleating, ruffles and spiral asymmetry on dresses, jumpsuits with wide hips and a model similar to something like one dress and put on another.
Many pieces were heavily embellished with sequins, whilst others had large statement necklaces as the finishing touches
I’m not quite sure what the one-leather glove represented, but many of the models wearing black wore one.
The colour palette was mostly black, with blue, pinks, nudes, taupes, reds and green all featured.

The jewelery is stunning! All those pieces seem Indian inspired too.
My favorite dress is the electric blue, the orange with the peplum and ruffles, and that striped nude draped dress, 4rth on top. Yum.
I love the 4th look, top row and the jewelry.
Eee! Ditto.
That one immediately caught my eye, too! So elegant and sensual looking. I think a woman would feel really beautiful and sexy wearing this.
I can see the first dress of the next to the last one on Victoria Beckam.
i think Lanvin needs to stop trying to be so edgy, and keep that classic style that they had a couple of seasons ago. that was dreamy, this is kind of just not right when i think of ‘lanvin’.
I’ll just give a crazy guess and say maybe its a small tribute to Michael Jackson? lol
the necklaces are amazing
Could have been a last minute idea since Janet was in the audience
