“The Burning Plain” Los Angeles Premiere

It was always going to be a hard choice to pick the BDOTW, and now Charlize Theron has walked the red carpet glowing in a mustard Christian Dior Fall 2009 chiffon dress.

The amazing dress – which complements her skin-tone – has gold embroidery details on the shoulders and a matching gold belt.

The actress pairs her dress with matching Dior heels and a gold studded clutch.

“The Burning Plain” New York Premiere

For the New York premiere Charlize Theron wore a teal blue Givenchy Resort 2010 dress.

I wasn’t particularly crazy about the dress on the runway, as it had too much going on around the neckline.

Charlize simplified the dress, paired it with some ivory Givenchy heels and a black Bottega Veneta clutch for another stunningly effortless look.

“Jennifer’s Body” Hot Topic Fan Event, LA

I love Amanda Seyfried’s Marc Jacobs Resort 2010 look.

It has a chic Parisian feel to it with it’s prim and proper style.

The navy cropped jacket with black trims, is paired with black silk shorts, black pumps and a bedazzling clutch.

Like Lindsay Lohan, Megan Fox is never at home because she’s always working the red carpet.

This time she opts for a charming dusky rose  Antonio Berardi Fall 2009 dress with a ruffle cascading down the hip.

She pairs her look with gold Brian Atwood pumps – which I don’t think work well with the dress – and a Judith Leiber clutch.

“Love And Other Impossible Pursuits” Screening, Toronto Film Festival

Natalie Portman braved a cold night to bring a bit of the tropics to Toronto, by wearing a colourful strapless Lanvin fuschia dahlia floral print mini dress.

I LOVE the colour of this dress, the slight rise and fall nature of the skirt and the rosette detail on the bust.

“Love And Other Impossible Pursuits” Press Conference, Toronto Film Festival

For the press conference black wide legged pants and a floral Chloé Resort 2010 blouse, was a simple but cute look for the actress off the red carpet.

WOW.

This has to be the best Serena Williams has looked in a long while. I love the hair and make-up especially.

The tennis ace wore a one shoulder mini Gucci Fall 2009 dress covered in green and black crystals, with a striped pattern going across it.

She looks sexy, confident and power.

I hope I can squeeze this onto the BDOTW poll.

Unfortunately I think Alicia Keys’ black sleeveless zip Gucci Resort 2010 dress fails to flatter.

The dress looks much better with the belt, the dress is otherwise too plain without it, even with the ridiculous spikey thing on her wrist.

I saw Estelle many times around New York and each time she wore black.

Estelle use to wow us with daring designs and bold colours.

Has her stateside move muted her style?

Her Gucci Fall 2009 ensemble includes a black crystals sleeveless top which she belted with black pants.

Mary J. Blige keeps her look very simple wearing a no-frills black v-neck jersey dress with flute sleeve and black patent belt.

She completes the look with black patent booties and a black python envelope clutch.

Only Serena shines for me at this event.

I was in the same room as both Georgina Chapman and Blake Lively and didn’t notice they were wearing the same Marchesa Spring 2009 lace shorts. It’s like Pink and Shakira all over again.

The reason I didn’t notice is because I was in a room full of breath-taking gowns.

Neither seemed to mind as they had both worn the shorts in different ways.

Georgina paired her shorts with a plain tank top, whilst Blake wore the runway embellished jacket.

It’s also quite cute that they are wearing the same Christian Louboutin’s ankle booties too.

Alexa Chung’s Heidi braids were quite appropriate to complete the gypsy feel to her look.

She wore a black Marchesa Spring 2008 dress with stunning gold embroidered with a tan Mulberry Alexa Bag and black ankle boots.

Becki Newton wore an embroidered jewel neck short sleeve Marchesa dress with beige Christian Louboutin platform heels.

The dress really sparkled under the museums lights.

Can anyone confirm this Katherine McPhee’s new hairstyle is for a movie. Because I’m struggling to believe this was by choice.

The singer gives Drew Barrymore a run for her money in the race for ‘worst hair of the week’ award whilst wearing a stunning ivory Marchesa Resort 2010 one shoulder pleated crepe dress with embroidered waist.

Gold shoes would have complemented the gold embroidery detail on her dress better in my opinion.

Emmy Rossum shows us how low the plunge on the back of her feather detailed pink duchess satin sheath Marchesa dress goes.

Gold accessories complete her look.

Some people may have only recently heard of Christian Cota, since he dressed Leighton Meester for the MTV VMAs last week but this is actually his 5th season.

The atmosphere was very tranquil as models posing whilst standing around moss pads.

The back-drop was a painted moody blue, which reminded me of a dark sky before it rains.

The designer called this environment an urban garden. This would explain the many floral pieces he presented – which were the key pieces in the collection- alongside spring white blouses, shorts and skirts.

Multi-coloured cocktail dresses, cropped jackets, sleeveless blouses bandeau tops paired with high-waist pants were also presented.

Each piece was adorned with chained jewelery from Litter which didn’t just accent a look, but it was often wrapped around a model to highlight each piece.

Heels also got the chain treatment, and even the hem of one models shorts.

I particularly loved the piece draped over the models shoulder.

The models sported 50s hairstyles with a bright red pouts.

Here is are some of my favourite pieces. You can view the whole collection at Style.com

Pop magazine had a relaunch party in New York last week, where Dasha Zhukova made her first public appearance since she announced she was having her first baby with Billionaire boyfriend Roman Abramovich.

No one could id who the designer of her cute babydoll dress was – which cleverly covered her baby bump – but after the Proenza Schouler Spring 2010 show yesterday, it became clear that her dress was from that collection.

I’m very much on the fence with this look.

I love the colours and her lilac heels, but I have a lot of problems with the shape of the skirt which looks better on the model.

Although it’s cute, I’m not sure if it’s particularly flattering.

Dasha and Kristen Stewart so far are the only one’s lucky enough to wear a Spring 2010 look before the runway show.
