Kate Winslet was the first celebrity to wear this Stella McCartney Fall 2009 lace and stretch-wool dress, when she walked the red carpet at the “Away We Go” special screening in New York.
The actress had her hair tightly pulled back, as she paired her ruffled neckline dress with black and white detailed Christian Louboutin slingbacks.
Natalia Vodianova wore the same dress with thigh-high boots, when she attended the “Topshop Unique Private Dinner party” at the Ivy in London during Fashion Week.
Whilst Drew Barrymore wore the dress this week to the “Whip It” LA Derby press event, with Alaia heels.
Models always have an unfair advantage as their job is to look beautiful 24/7, so I feel it’s a bit of a cop-out giving the win to Natalia, but she really is my favourite in this dress so she wins for me.

This dress is available to purchse from the Net-A-Porter International site for £1,065/€1,282.

As much as I love Stella’s creations, I just cannot stand this dress: even Natasha’s extremely thin shoulders look… mmm… as they are fat?
Have not voted for anyone.
At least it looks like Drew has permanently gotten rid of the black ends of her hair… she still needs to run a brush through her hair more often though. But baby steps first… I’m so glad the black ends are gone!!!
I’m sorry but Kate Winslet and Drew Barrymore look waaay better in this dress than the model. The dress just hangs off Natalia’s thin body… This dress needs womenly curves, that which Natalia so clearly lacks.
I think if I saw it in another angle for Natalia, I would probably love it more (and would’ve chosen it), but Kate for me.
