I had often wondered what it would be like to be backstage pre-show at Fashion Week. Yesterday I was luck enough to experience this first hand.
I expected shouting, screaming, models running everywhere, but it was a surprisingly calm environment showed the professionalism of the models, staff and PRs at the show.
Models were everywhere at different stages of dress.
Some were already wearing their first looks, some had just arrived from other shows, some were getting manicures or their hair and make up done.

As well as the models, photographers were everywhere capturing those model groups shots we all see in our glossy magazines.
Make-up artists and hairstylists were busy, but so were seamstresses putting the finishing touches to looks.
The designer Brian Reyes was also busily moving around putting finishing touches to models in between people wishing him good luck.
7 minutes before show time all the models were told to get into their first looks, which they were helped into by 2 dressers.
Make-up artists touched them up with Bobbi Brown cosmetics, whilst a hairstylist armed with a can of TRESemme hairspray and a brush backcomb their ponytails.

Also backstage were Becki Newton and Rachel Bilson, who were both dressed in Brian Reyes.
Becki wore a Fall 2009 dress with Jimmy Choos and a biker leather jacket, whilst Rachel wore a modified dress from the Resort 2010 collection.

I love Rachel Bilson dress!
Lovely collection! I like that it’s so simple yet so sophisticated! I can easily picture Rachel Bilson in almost every outfit of this collection..can’t wait to see her wearing some pieces from it. One of my favourite pieces has to be the green draped mini dress on Angelique. Beautiful!
URGHHHH!!
Another reason to hate you, you met Beki Newton! I love her on Betty. The pics ae great!
