Kristen Stewart introduced an extended clip from her new movie “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” last night at the VMAs.

She was joined on stage by Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Both guys look dapper – especially Rob *sighs*

Kristen looked dainty wearing a Valentino metallic beaded tulle mini dress, with a sheer yoke whilst sporting an edgy asymmetrical ‘do.

This delicate dress is in stark contrast to the edgier Rock & Republic dress she wore to the Teen Choice Awards, but I love it.

It’s a huge shame she didn’t walk the red carpet as I wanted to see more of the dress and her Rock & Republic Nika studded pumps.

I love how it’s not her usual edgy rock chic dress and yet she totally owns it! I’m so surprised by her choice but so happy! I especially love her haircut!

    And her shoes? Yes please.

Even Kristen’s hair is starting to look better, but I really wish she would dye it back to brown. The black is too severe for her.

I really like the dress on her- the hair? Not so much. Like Ally said above Kristen looked much better as a brunette.

The shoes are Rock & Republic, btw.

i know! his attitude is annoying. LOL. alexandra, i’m a girl and i don’t find rob attractive. as her kirsten’s dress, it suits her overall pixie look. but i also don’t like her. they both have big egos

as for Kristen, her style evolves in a good direction, i really love her look here :) it somehow makes up for my disappointment at Ashley Greene…

Oh ! You post something abot her outfit ! Great !

I love the way she changed her The Runaways hairdo into something so sweet. I’d like to see her change the color too, but the haircut seems so soft that this black doesn’t disturb me.

Oh, and the heels are Rock and Republic.

The hair was because she was filming the Joan Jett biopic, not because she actually chose to have a 70s-style mullet herself!

I loved this look on her! I like that she’s experimenting – I never thought she’d wear Valentino. She’d doing the best she can with the hair and the makeup is really good. The edgy shoes were a nice touch.

(the site wouldn’t let me post this as a reply to Robbie’s comment, so I’m posting it here)

Believe me, it’s not just blokes who don’t “get” Pattinson. I don’t know any women who find him remotely attractive. I’m usually rather partial to a bit of a dragged-through-a-hedge-backwards look, but they need a personality too, and sadly, that’s where Mr P seems to be lacking. He just looks like a very ordinary, very average sixth form student to me – looks like his are ten a penny in every school in the country.

And poor Kristen just looks like she’s had a stylist’s makeover to make her look “normal”. Bring back the old Kristen with her OWN style, mullet, dirty jeans, battered Converse and all. Her eyes are pleading, “Help me! I’m trapped in Valentino and I don’t like it!”

  23. El says:

Again she looks unimpressed with her surroundings. This girl cannot even fake being happy around public events like this one and having to put the effort into dressing up. You can tell that is just not her style. I am happy, however, that she is looking better than usual. Nice improvement.
