Sachin + Babi For Ankasa Spring 2010 was the first presentation I attended this New York Fashion week.
I had only recently become aware of the label via Alexis Bledel, so I was very curious to find out more when I was invited to the show.
I had I not just stepped off a plane in JFK I could’ve sworn I was in France, as upon entering the room I saw a black and white film projected onto a wall as Gallic chimes played in the background.
To add to the charming environment models looked they were lined along the French Riviera, with some wearing Panama hats.
The collection had separates and dresses.
These pieces were either heavily embellished or had cut-out details.
The colours were a mix of silvery greys, navy and a one lilac fruity strapless dress.
This collection could be worn on vacation as easily as it could be worn out dinner at down town restaurant.
The piece were effortless and gave me a “I just threw this together” vibe.
I can picture Olivia Palmero wearing this collection.

My favourite look from this collection was the heavilly embellished black top, with the navy textured shorts.
