Britney Spears to wear Armani Privé Spring 2009, Christian Lacroix Couture Fall 2009 & Valentino Spring 2009 Couture

When I received Iris’ wish I had to double check that her wish was for Britney Spears.

We usually associate Britney with tired looking extension, very short denim shorts and unflattering mini dresses.

At the Teen Choice Awards it may as well have been 2000, for all the progress she had made style-wise.

Iris would like to see a HUGE change.

Iris said, “I’ve always really liked Britney, and have always rooted for her, hoping she would get back to her best”.

“What I never loved though was her fashion sense. I just got so tired of always seeing the same unflattering dresses on her. So here are 3 dresses that I think can make her shine like the superstar she is – you will not be surprised that none of them are short, as I think her legs are really not her best feature even though she insists on showing them of.”

“This Armani Privé Spring 2009 dress I think would make her sparkle, in a sophisticated way.”

“The Christian Lacroix Fall 2009 Couture dress I picked for her is black, and although I love her in bright colours, I think this would have been a better black option for her than the one she wore to the Teen Choice Awards recently.

“I would LOVE to see Brit Brit in this green Valentino Spring 2009 Couture 2009 dress. The colour would look great on her, and it shows a bit of leg which she loves so much, without being tacky.”

I love all of Iris’ choices and I think they would look great on Britney, but does she have the poise to pull them off?

I’m not so sure. She always looks so uncomfortable on the red carpet.

I was shocked to see britney spears on a wish list also. I still cant get over her bare foot in a gas station bathroom stall. But i love her pics also.

i don’t think brit can pull off the christian lacroix or the valentino but if she wore the armani she would look so ace.

I Don’t know if she could pull off this dresses, but there are really interesting choices and it would be nice to see Brit with one of this and not those mini-dresses which don’t flatter her..

I too would love to see her in the Armani prive (minus the tacky hair) – it’s sexy, as ‘Brit Brit’ likes, but also chic which would make it a big step forward fashion wise. I’m having a bit of trouble imagining her in the other two though. They are gorgeous dresses (pant pant!), but seem more sophisticated than Britney could ever pull off – but you never know, people change….

I’m sure Brit would find a way to turn couture into hoochie mama fashion, so I fear for those dresses. Remember when she wore that atelier Versace dress? Chills!
I do think it would be nice for here to go for more interesting wardrobe choices ans stop with the mini-dress + shoes with straps formula she has. Like Iris said her legs are for sure not her best feature, but I think Brit Brit is a lost cause.

I could see the Armani dress working, especially if she doesn’t modify it.

Is Britney still styling herself? Bad, bad, bad… She’s what 27/28 years old with 2 kids and she dresses like a skanky 16 year old… I think she’d look great in Armani (who wouldn’t!) but am not loving the Christian Lacroix. I’d love to see the Valentino dress without those horrid looking feathers or whatever they are,on top.
