On The Set Of Sex And The City 2 With Sarah Jessica Parker Carrying A Chanel Clutch

OMG…Sarah Jessica Parker was back on the set of “Sex And The City” in New York today.

It seems like only yesterday they were announcing the sequel, now SJP is pounding the Manhattan streets wearing gold sparkling Christian Louboutin pigalle heels – What happened to her Manolo’s?

Sporting her trademark curly do SJP was a perfect vision wearing a white 3/4 length sleeved Halston Heritage dress, a exquisite Solange Azagury-Partridge tetris-esqe necklace and carry a STUNNING Chanel gold purse.

I want one. Like I’ve never wanted anything in my whole life.

I must admit I was skeptical of the sequel, but after seeing SJP on set I’m back on board.

Move over Blake and Leighton, the Queen of New York is back.

she may look like a “horse” but least she isnt like every other plastic, botoxed bimbo in hollywood lately. SJP has natural beauty.

Wonderful!!!! My heart skipped a beat when I saw this – thanks for posting (as always) FC!!

I cannot understand why SJP attracts such negative attention regarding her looks (e.g. horse). She has never tried to convey herself as a supermodel. I think women relate to how natural she is as Carrie (in looks and character) and love her for it!

I am in awe of the sassy style and confidence exuded by Carrie in the shows and movie! Manhattan is her catwalk and she rocks it! Also I agree FC – she looks just beautiful here.

PS Marta this is a fashion blog, not a beauty blog..

agree ! I find it weird that many people say she is ugly. For me she is beautifull and I love her fashion sense.

I wasn’t a big fan of the movie- I much prefer the ‘original’ SATC- but I have to admit that I am so excited for Carrie’s outfits right now. Hopefully we’ll get a lot of set pics. :)
Oh, and the bag is fabulous.

i really hope this movie has better fashion, seriously the last movie they kept saying the fashion would be better than the tv show and it wasnt.

Oh we are back here again are we Helena or Lola…its called a joke. Geez lighten up. Why do you feel the need to drown every thing I write?

She is known more for wearing Manolo’s or name checking Manolo’s more than any other shoe brand, this my dear is a fact.

        Thank you Ayesha.

I will just quote the man himself

“”I adore Ms. Parker. The character she played has had such a role in my career – I cannot help but regard both of them as muses!”

Oh God, no. Sex And The City really needs to be put out of its misery. It WAS good… seven years ago. They’re pi$$ing on our memories with these terrible films. They seem to have decided that all anyone cares about is the fashion and don’t bother with characterisation or a plot anymore. They might as well just show a selection of slides of Carrie et al wearing lots of different shoes and not bother even making the film. Be cheaper, too.

I don’t really get the hate about the movie. To each their own, I guess. For me personally, the movie was one of the best ones last year. And I’m usually an arthouse films type, and don’t come nowhere near romantic comedies. I loved the show, though, because I have different criteria for television. But what I thought was so great about it was exactly because the movie felt more like 5 episodes of the show put together, than transforming the show into a film structure of storytelling.
