Lily Allen graces the cover of Elle UK’s October 2009 issue, which has been dubbed “The London Issue”.

With the “London” theme in mind Lily was dressed in amazing clothes all by British designers including Louise Goldin, Giles, Preen and Burberry. All of which had been specifically made for her.

In Rankin’s shoot she wears both a black and blonde wig. The hairstylist on the shoot said that they were going for a Debbie Harry kinda vibe, but I see Courtney Love.

On being famous: “I get quite shy and embarrassed, actually. Yes, I think I am [shy], actually. I get embarrassed when people come up and ask for autographs. I think people expect you to have a certain sense of decorum, but I almost find it like being a nursery teacher, having to be nice to people all the time. I haven’t got a problem with that, but I think people expect you to know how to deal with s**t.

Whilst other girl bands have come and gone, Girls Aloud are still going strong. Musically, style-wise and now the endorsements are flooding in.

This week Kimberly Walsh was announced as the face of British retailer ‘New Look’.

She appears in their Fall 2009 ad campaign showing off her famous beautiful curves wearing a sexy trench coat, red hat paired with a lumberjack shirt and bell-bottom jeans. A chunky knit cardigan paired with skinny jeans, and a skinny jeans paired with a sparkling navy jacket.

I think it’s a nice fit, as she’s so down to earth.

The national favourite Cheryl Cole will utter those famous words, “Because you’re worth it”, as it was announced this week that she signed a deal with L’Oreal.

This will explain the plum hair which was only temporary for the shoot of the campaign, and she’s already back to her trademark brunette locks.

Cheryl is the first Brit to feature in a L’Oreal campaign since Kate Moss in 1998. The campaign will be featured on TV, billboards and magazines this autumn, as she follows in the footsteps Beyonce Knowles, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Aniston.

I really hope they don’t dub her voice, or make her sound too posh when she delivers that famous line. Cheryl wouldn’t be Cheryl without her Geordie accent.

“Cheryl is a glamorous, stylish and talented young woman whose warmth and charm have captivated the nation and helped to establish her as an inspiration to women throughout the U.K.,” stated Gayle Tait, general manager of L’Oréal Paris UK and Ireland.

“Cheryl’s striking beauty and much admired hair make her the perfect ambassadress for L’Oréal Paris UK.”

Rihanna was spotted shopping at the Grove in LA with her assistant Melissa Forde back in February wearing a rather cute look.

The singer wore a blue shirt, tan Chloe heels, a cream Twenty8Twelve Wilma skirt, plus an array of ivory accessories completed her look.

I loved Sienna Miller’s chic summery ensemble of a striped sleeveless top, bold red statement necklace, Rupert Sanderson brogues, and her favourite burgundy Prada Saffiano & Tessuto Tote.

I wouldn’t change a thing about this outfit, she is head to toe perfection.

Sienna Miller’s back at the top of her fashion game and her nautical look wins for me – even with brogues it’s the perfect summer outfit.

“Late Show With David Letterman”, New York

Anne Heche arrived a Letterman wearing a Catherine Malandrino LBD with ruffled shoulders decorated with an antique gunmetal trim.

Anne teamed her look with Valentino patent peep toe shoes and Martin Katz jewelry.

Kenneth Cole Awearness & Feed Projects Celebrate The Feed Health Backpack, LA

Ali Larter looks outstandingly beautiful wearing a mint green Balenciaga Resort 2009 dress, with gold heels.

The look only needed a touch of pink gloss and a clutch to complete this elegant look.

“Sorority Row” Photocall, London

I’m loving Rumer Willis’ chic coral satin Zac Posen dress, but the heavy black Fendi shoes don’t work for me.

And how many times to I have to tell Rumer? You’re hair is so much better short and black.

Briana Evigan for me looked better than Rumer wearing her BCBG Max Azria colour block dress.

I just love the loud vibrant colours, which she paired down with grey heels.

Diesel Only The Brave, New York

Without commenting on the ‘Palmero’ hair style, I love and I dislike Olivia Palermo’s look in equal measures.

You can tell a lot of time and thought went into it as she paired her red and white stripy Diesel dress, with a white shirt accented with a navy bow and a necklace. She didn’t really need the necklace.

The look is completed with the dreaded ankle boot and a cute quilted Chanel purse.

Michelle Trachtenberg’s wore in white Alice + Olivia tank top with an interesting detailed neckline paired with skinny black jeans and two-tone Giuseppe Zanotti Ver blush patent sandal.

Leslie Mann is a great actress and who has fabulous style, but on this occasion I’m not crazy about her look.

To the “Funny People” Berlin Photo Call last night, Leslie wore an olive metallic jacquard dress with a floral detail all over the dress, with black wool inserts on the short sleeves and on the front of the dress.

The problem for me isn’t the dress, but how Leslie wore it.

The runway necklace, patterned tights and shoes all add a bit of spark and interest to the look.

Leslie’s black tights and ankle boots feel so blah and lifeless with the dress.

For once she let me down.
