Miss Piggy Wears Marc Jacobs Fall 2009

Isn’t this just the cutest thing you ever saw?

Anyone over the age of 25 or so will recognise Miss Piggy from the Muppets.

Girlfriend is looking good at 35.

Miss Piggy popped into Marc Jacobs headquarters in advance of the MACY’s Glamorama show in Chicago tonight.

She was wearing a custom-made black Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 cap sleeved dress embellished with jeweled stones, plus her signature elbow length gloves to complete the look.

Move over Madonna, the real diva is back in town.

he is hot, although the stupid tattoos ruin his hottness! or atleast in my opinion.

      • Stuti August 21, 2009 at 19:52 #

I do agree. But look at his smile! Its so hard not to drool.

Adorable! Great that he has a sense of humor. Although, it does make me think about Jean-Charles de Castlebajac’s scary runway show this year where he used a lot of muppets to make clothing. *shudder* http://nymag.com/fashion/fashionshows/2009/fall/main/europe/womenrunway/jcdc/index1.html#slide38&ss1 (I’m not sure about your rules for posting links, so feel free to take off the link :))

I don’t mind links so long as I can recognise them before I open them.

Yours is clearly from NYMag, so I know it won’t lead to some virus :)

It’s wonderful that he appears not to take himself too seriously and having fun! (Although I’ve never heard anything like that about him.) The dress scales down beautifully to puppet size :) I wonder if this will inspire fashionistas to adapt garments they love for little ones?

Does anyone know what this was for?

    • Fashion Critic August 21, 2009 at 16:21 #

it for the Macy’s event in Chicago tonight.

That makes Miss Piggy the same age as Victoria Beckham. Except that Miss P really IS channelling Audrey Hepburn here, whereas Miss B only THINKS she is…

Surely this is a shoo-in for Best Dressed Of The Week?

    Diane who?!

    • Fashion Critic August 21, 2009 at 16:33 #
