We first got a glimpse of the new Chanel “Coco Cocoon” bags in the ad campaign fronted by Lily Allen channeling Holly Golightly.
The general consensus was “we no likey”, but trust the beautiful Freida Pinto to make these bags look half decent.
Freida is the first person other than Lily to be seen carrying a “Coco Cocoon” bag, as the collection doesn’t go on sale until October 3.
The Indian actress was snapped arriving on the set of the untitled Woody Allen movie at ‘Beach Blanket Babylon’ in Notting Hill, London.
Freida is keeping good company, as the film also stars Antonio Banderas, Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins.

i love freida, but god that bag is just awful awful awful. it looks like a baby bag to me. the color of freida’s makes it look cheap
I hate this bag. It reminds me of a puffy ski jacket or something.
Looks cheap, like streetfare, could have easily been a knockoff, as for Freida I guess the girl has no choice, she has to wear what is given to her!
It does look cheap which is a shame since Freida looks great. Hey FC is Freida carrying it or her character (please say character…)
she arrived on set with the bag, so I’m guessing it’s hers
oh damn! Thats too fugly for her
I expect to open it and find my overnight toiletries
the bag still looks like a cheap tacky knock-off.
it looks like one of those big winter coats you see actors wear on sets of movies.
it looks so bad…but for sure frieda is looking pretty decent..by the way has she chopped off her hair..or is it just the front look…
Oh, I can’t, I can’t, I just can’t deal with this bag. The handbags created by high-end designer labels like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Lanvin etc. are supposed to look expensive, maybe even a little ostenatious. When people are commenting that the bag looks like a tacky knock-off, you’ve failed in creating something that people perceive as desirable. Mission not accomplished Karl.
these new Chanel bags are fugly.
That bag looks so cheap.
OMG THATS SO CUTE! LOL
TALKING ABOUT THAT DRESS BUT THE PURSE IS SO IN YOUR FACE. ILL.
that purse is so icky
