Elle Macpherson appears to be an unofficial brand ambassador for Victoria Beckham’s dress collection, because yet again the supermodel was spotted on “The Beautiful Life” wearing a dress from VB’s Spring 2009 collection.
The obsession started back in May this year when Elle wore a strapless black Spring 2009 dress to “The CW Network 2009 Upfront” event in New York.
She was no doubt drawn to the sleek structured design that enhanced and flattered her toned body.
All the pictures we have seen of Elle on set of “The Beautiful Life” this month have all been in VB’s Spring 2009 and Fall 2009 designs.
In the show Elle is Claudia Foster, a former Eighties supermodel who runs a modelling agency. Which explains the big hair and the pout.
In the most recent picture she looks like school teacher which is quite confusing.

Firstly I am wondering why these dresses gather in little folds around the hips and whats up with the grey one second from the left? Both the model and Elle look like they are wearing a cricket box!
I find all these clothes so boring – like office attire. Very severe and unimaginative.
so true!
OT but that Preen dress you have on the right keeps looking like a toned-down version of this to me: http://antique-and-vintage-luxury-avl.1stdibs.com/avl_item_detail.php?id=3782
I prefer the one on your link
Why does this not happen with every designer? Why must only VB be singled out, she only just started, has anyone ever seen Marc Jacobs first and 2nd lines? or even Michael Kors, they were like kid’s craft work, so i dont understand why all this negativity.
My guess would be VB is a lot more high profile than Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors when they first came out. Plus, the strong negative perception has been surrounding her is not helpful neither. I guess if she started off with a high street collection instead of a high end one, people should not have talked that much.
p.s: I love VB too
I think these are beautiful, i think sometimes crazy patterns and the return of the padded shoulder are unwearable. I know the line is a bit pricey, at over a £1000. However i think this look really shows off the celebs features rather than it all being about the clothes.
