I’m a huge fan of Zara and their runway inspired pieces. You can channel your inner Carine Roitfeld for under £200 in the store.
If I had £5,000 to spend on a Balmain jacket I would, but I don’t which is why I appreciate Zara so much.
Balmain is again a huge inspiration for Zara.

We can expect puffy sleeves inspired by Dolce & Gabbana.

Sharp shoulders à la Balmain.

Wool wrap coats inspired by Stella McCartney.
Like it or not over-the-knee boots are coming to the high-street. We saw these in Stella McCartney’s, Rodarte’s, Halston’s and Roberto Cavalli’s Fall 2009 shows.
Remember the advice Natalie Massenet from Net-A-Porter gave me, which was to wear these boots with an oversized sweater or blazer making sure the tops of the boots are not seen. You don’t want to end up looking like Julia Roberts in “Pretty Woman”.

the first dress is really pretty! I’m not a fan of balmain style, but this is something I would wear with pleasure
I’ll look for it in polish stores, although I don’t quite believe I’ll find it…
zara is so amazing. that wool wrap coat is to die for.
and what do you mean like it or not FC? you’re so tall, as you always make known, so you shouldn’t have to worry about looking too ridiculous in those thigh high boots. but then again, it would be easier for someone shorter to make them look like legging boots because it’ll go higher up on our leg.
who knows if i’ll go with this trend, but it’l probably help keep you warmer on cold winter days as well.
those boots scare me but I will try them
There are no Zara stores where I live, unfortunately. If anyone can get a size 4 Balmain-inspired jacket on eBay, I’d love you forever.
Finally some inspiration (I will say that and not knockoff in this case) that doesn’t look cheap.
Please when do you think this would be in stores? I cant wait
it should be in store soon or now.
Most store have the new collection alongside the sale stuff
Zara is AMAZING,i couldnt live without it
The first Zara dress is more Martin Margiela than Balmain to me.
How do I purchase Zara’s fall 2009 Balmain inspired collection!
You should go to your nearest Zara store.
