Anna Friel has been injecting a lot of sassy edgier pieces in her closet recently, and she stays true to form wearing this sexy Antonio Berardi Fall 2009 black textured dress.
I love the sculptured shoulders, the square cut neckline and the fact that she didn’t wear tights with this dress. We had horrible weather this weekend in England as you can see from the moody clouds in the background.
Black heels and a black crocodile clutch complete this look.

Designer Saloni Lodha and Marissa Anschutz seem to be having a wonderful time.
Saloni is wearing a haltered dress from her own Spring 2009 collection which has a ruffled bib and a tiered skirt.
It’s perfect for a summers day, so it’s such a shame the bad weather made her wear a jacket and we don’t get to see all of the stunning details of her design.
Marissa was a more bold wearing her Saloni Cora strapless dress sans coat.
Her beige chiffon gathered strapless dress has mesh panel on the sides with a black velvet trim plus black and fluorescent pink chiffon detail and beading embellishment.
It’s a gorgeous dress, but I find my eyes drawn to her fuchsia pink Christian Louboutin Paquita satin sandals.

Neve Campbell doesn’t attend many events, so this is a rare treat.
The actress wore a multi-coloured tiered Moschino dress with black pumps.
The dress is nice, but the hairstyle ages her.

Honestly I almost didn’t recognise Ashley Roberts with so much clothing on.
Normally the most we see on her is a bra and hot pants when she’s performing with her group the PussyCat Dolls.
She really scrubs up well, looking very ladylike in her ravishing red Alexander McQueen pocketed dress with shoulder pads and a cowl neckline.

Naomie Harris’ cream demi-sheer D&G dress is instantly recognizable by the black appliqué butterfly detail on the neckline.
I love the ruffled hemline.
She did well wear the right coloured bra under this dress.

Lara Lewington is wearing the very popular Lipsy London zip edge strapless dress which only costs £35, whilst probably wearing thousands of pounds worth of Cartier jewels.

I’d say there’s a BDTW nomination here for Friel, and I’m most intrigued by this Saloni label. Good post!
Oh yes she looks fab.
Since discovering Saloni via Emma Watson I too am intrigued. She makes some fantastic pieces
I’ve seen some other pictures of Friel and there’s some nice brocade detail on the dress, don’t know if you’d caught that?
i agree. i’d vote for her too. the dress has such a unique cut
theres something about ashley roberts facial expression that really reminds me of jessica szohr.. is it just me?
Anna Friel looking FAB! I just wish the dress would be tighter as it is on the runaway
LOVING Anna Friel. That dress is amazing.
Love the sleeve length.
Anna and Ashley.
*drops jaw*
Seriously, so good!
Superb start to a new fashion week!
(And while I am not sold on the outfits – Saloni Lodha is channelling such an insanely good vibe that I just can’t help but like what I see!)
((And poor Neve. I LOVE her – but absolutely nothing works there.))
Naomie Harris looks so cute in her outfit.
maybe it’s the gloomy weather or her facial expression but it feels like Anna Friel is attending a very expensive and elegant funeral.
Love the funereal comment! ….and the Saloni dresses
Anna looks great!
I love Ashley Roberts’ dress…but it’s actually Alexander McQueen and not Westwood
