At the 2009 Outfest Closing Night Gala Premiere of “Dare” held in Hollywood last night, Emmy Rossum wore a black Emanuel Ungaro Fall 2009 mini dress as she walked the red carpet.
The first thing I said to myself was, “Why didn’t she wear the colourfully one?”
The multi-coloured version is sooo much more interesting, so even though Emmy looks amazing as the structured dress gives her a sexy silhouette, I would’ve been more wowed with the other dress.
The actress wore her hair back with minimal flawless make-up.
She paired her look with black strappy heels and a black clutch to complete this all black look.

This is definitely a more edgy look for her. The colorful one would have been more of the same for her.
I agree with ber, that the black one looks edgier on her and gives us something completely different from what we are used to seeing on Emmy Rossum. This is a refreshing change and it looks good on her.
