Sharon Stone to NOT wear Christian Dior Resort 2010
I normally post on what you wish to see our favourite celebs wearing on the red carpet, but Kiran has another idea.
When Kiran saw the Christian Dior Resort 2010 collection, Kiran had a different type of wish.
Kiran said, “”Leopard print is not for the faint hearted and is a difficult trend to work. The print could perhaps be considered a case of the good think Maggie Gyllenhaal is that gorgeous Lanvin, the bad perhaps Vanessa Williams in that headache inducing Versace and the downright ugly Sharon Stone in Christian Dior Spring 2008 Pajamas. One person who has always taken the print into tacky and vulgar territory when worn is Sharon Stone. She just never seems to get it right so, as a result, I hope that Sharon Stone HAS NOT seen the Dior resort 2010 collection. While she has managed to stay ‘tame’ and away from animal prints, like any leopard-print loving predator, I’m sure she has sniffed out her prey (the entire collection) and is ready to devour it all. A Dior ‘Cannage’ (the bag) is one thing but this would just be Dior carnage. She really takes the idea of being a ‘cougar’ to a whole new level!
So Sharon, if the temptation is too much and you feel the need to release you inner beast on the Hollywood red carpet jungle by all means carry the Louis Vuitton Leopard Nocturne African Queen clutch, drape a chic Stephen Sprouse Leopard print scarf around your neck or even don a pair of Louboutin’s in the said print but DO NOT, and I repeat do not wear a piece from this collection because if you do, don’t complain when the fashion police come to hunt you down!”
As someone who has applauded Sharon’s recent switch from leopard prints to solid colours, I wish alongside you that she never considers this collection.
Unfortunately I believe the allure of this collection will be too great.
