Louis Vuitton Celebrates The 40th Anniversary Of The Lunar Landing

For once I don’t smell any desperation with Cassie’s look, and I’m just grateful she’s wearing a bra under her sheer top.

The wannabee style maven wore a black and green Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 tulip skirt with gold Christian Louboutin open toe booties.

The only thing I’m not liking are the bubblegum pink nails as they’re distracting.

When this Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 dress was presented it was labeled the ‘bin-liner’ dress, and I was sure no one would be brave enough to wear it on the red carpet.

I’ve been proved wrong for the second time, as Estelle looked pretty damn fierce in her dress.

The only thing needed with this dress were a pair of statement heels so her stand-out fuchsia pink Alexander McQueen heart peep-toe heels were a perfect choice.

Whitney Port is very much starting to dress like a sophisticated New Yorker. Gone is the boho style she loved for so long.

“The City” star was back in town after a break from filming and she looks quite breath-taking wearing a LBD from the Rachel Comey Spring 2009 collection.

The dress has cut-out sides and peplum on the hips.

It looks like she has been hanging out with Olivia Palmero too much, as her hair has been styled in Olivia favourite look.

A stunning pearl Erickson Beamon necklace and Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toes completed this fabulous look.

“Gossip Girl” actress Jessica Szohr wore a cute and girlie lace mini dress from the Gossip Girl inspired Anna Sui for Target collection, but she toughened up her look with a military Temperley London jacket and chunky jewelery.

Like everyone else who wore at least one thing from LV, Jessica opted for the Fall 2009 platform heels.

There’s lot going on with the mix of patterns but I quite like this look.

Miranda Kerr embraced summer wearing a sleeveless satin dress with oversized ruffles.

She teamed her dress with black ankle-strap peep-toe heels and a gold Louis Vuitton African Queen clutch.

That’s a very good look for Cassie. I’m SHOCKED.

Jessica Szohr is actually BEAUTIFUL. She is so breathtaking! And I love how she took that Anna Sui for Target dress and made it same ridiculously high end. The Temperely jacket was a great pairing. I love this look, head to toe.

i love all but whitney and cassie. she always looks like a poor man’s rihanna to me. it’s off the subject, but is miranda not unusually thin?

    • Fashion Critic July 15, 2009 at 08:32 #

      thinner than usual I agree

as much as i loooooove jessica, i think shes got a tad too much going on here. i love the dress and the shoes. the jacket not so much. come to think of it, it is quite a cute jacket. methinks it needs to be paired with another ensemble for me to fully appreciate it.

Jessica’s look is very busy but somehow it works for me too. Maybe it’s the way she carries herself.

Why is Cassie’s top sheer? Whyyyy?

You are so right at first sight I tought Whitney actually WAS Olivia Palermo: they look so similar!! She is the only one that has an acceptable look..

PS: I still can’t believe that Jessica is Ed Westwick’s girlfriend.. Sooooo unfair!

I like Jessica’s look w/o the jacket and Cassie for me is still trying too hard. Why is her skirt ballooning out? It doesn’t do that on the runway. Not cute. I like the soes although they don’t match and Whitney’s look might grow on me!

  12. LolaSvelt July 14, 2009 at 16:52 #

Sorry, Cassie still looks like she’s trying too hard.

    I kind of like Jessica’s outfit. I know I shouldn’t, but I do.

Whitney Port always looks out of it.

i’m sorry, but everyone is a hot mess here, especially jessica. ?? what is going on?

and oh no whitney, not you too with that school marm hairstyle. i am so hating this trend. i really am. it doesn’t even flatter whitney! it works a little bit on olivia, but this style has no business being on whitney’s head.

  14. marvel July 14, 2009 at 15:27 #

    I too like Jessica’s look. 😛

I like the idea of pairing a military jacket with a feminine dress, but Jessica’s is just too much. Her dress is see through! You can see the black line of her underwear in that second picture.
