Front Row At Christian Dior’s Fall 2009 Couture Show

I wasn’t surprised to see Tinsley Mortimer at this show.

The socialite wears a lot of Dior pieces on the red carpet and for this occasion she opted for a navy and gold halter neck silk top, with a matching sheer skirt.

The pop of colours came from her self designed yellow clutch and a her bubble gum pink nails.

In the absence of Dior queen Charlize Theron, I was looking to Marion Cotillard for the front row wow moment. It never came.

The actress arrived wearing an all black Dior look which I found to be quite dull.

Many of you were saying that Dasha Zhukova always has the same expression, well here you have a smile.

The editor-in-chief of Pop magazine looked extremely casual wearing a black tank top, striped skirt and black sandals to attend this show.

Don’t people dress up in couture to go to couture shows anymore?

Where’s Eva Green when you need her?

Agreed. So disappointing. Dasha was super-casual, Marion was polished but boring and Tinsley was uninspiring as well. Dita, Dita, Dita would’ve brought it.

tinsley, looks pretty good i really liked that dress and she makes it look really nice.

marion, she looks great but i would have liked a burst of colour, the lipstick looks a tad too dark for her.

dasha, the smile is the only good thing here.

it is a shame no one wears couture to couture shows anymore. i wish charlize, eva and dita were there they would have brought the glamour.

Those… things on Dasha’s feet are H-I-D-E-O-U-S.

The makup really lets Marion down… what a shame.

Is it just me, or does Marion often have bad makeup? I feel like the lips are way too dark and often her face looks extremely pale with dark circles under the eyes. It’s strange- I can’t tell if it’s her or the weird make-up.

Where are all those celebs? I mean, if you were a celebrity, wouldn’t you attend couture shows with great enthusiasm? And to make things worse, those who actually arrived, look incredibly boring.

meh… to the whole thing.

although, i would buy mortimer’s dress for a lazy afternoon of reading at a coffeeshop, followed by dinner and a night of dancing. someone with more sass should be wearing a dress like that. the runway belt is much, much more interesting. the fluidity in multicolors draws attention to the difference in texture. i also think the fit on her should be slimmer, and the length shorter for a more fun and flirty vibe. with strappier, higher sandals!
