Runway To Jeff Koons Dinner – Dasha Zhukova In Marios Schwab

Co-founder of fashion label Kova & T, editor-in-chief of Pop magazine – the first issue will be released in September – and fashion darling Dasha Zhukova has to be one of my Top 10 favourite fashionistas.

I haven’t blogged about her in a while but I was in awe of her two stunning looks from last week.

My favourite was Dasha’s multi-coloured Marios Schwab Fall 2009 dress with a 3D optical crystal-print. She totally made the dress her own by modifying it from the runway version to make it a one-shoulder dress.

She wore her stunning dress with a Pauric Sweeney clutch and Jimmy Choo Glenys python sandals.

Dasha attended the Tesla Launch Party recently wearing what I believe is a Chloé single breasted blazer, Sonny Crockett style, with a white tank, denim shorts, snakeskin heels, a gold clutch and a gold bracelet.

I  love this effortlessly sexy casual look.  I’m definitely going to recreate this look.

Can’t wait to see more from her.

This was one of my fav looks that week.

Why does she always have this look on her face? She never seems to smile.

    Chloe Sevigny inspiration!

I love the Marios Schwab dress. It’s even better on the runway. I don’t know why she would modify it.

The modification was a very good idea but I don’t really like the dress.
Her 2nd look is indeed effortlessly fabulous though.

I love her in the first picture! Her modification makes it so original and unique, plus it is a gorgeous dress – I love the multi-colour print.

I like her style very much, especially on the first picture.

She does look a bit cranky in these pictures! But love that dress. Her modifications make the dress look so much better than the runway version.

Really, I don’t get what you see in her. Yes, first look is better than the runway, but second is just blah: oversized blazer – check, shorts – check, simple tank top – check, snake print heels – check. It’s so Chloë Sevigny. And she has the same expression all the time.

I don’t get what people see in Chloe Sevigny.

The world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things

That’s the point – I don’t get Chloe too, that’s why I mentioned her, nevermind me anyway 🙂

I was just giving Chloe as an example of someone I think is overrated.

          I totally understood you point.

I just wish she would smile.
Smiling makes you both happy and sexy!

I agree. She looks beautiful, why so sad?
