It’s been a quiet week on the red carpet, so we have relied mostly on Marion Cotillard to give us red carpet wow moments and she didn’t let us down last night.
The French actress looked stunning in a pink Christian Dior Resort 2010 dress at the Paris “Public Enemies” premiere.
Whilst most were concentrating on her strange choice of sparkling burgundy Dior wedges, I was drooling over her pink dress. The colour is absolutely perfect on her.
I love the not too revealing plunge which she decorates with multiple silver necklaces, and the way the tie at the front of the dress nips in her waist to give Marion’s tiny frame a gorgeous shape.
Glamorous back-combed hair, smoky eyes, neutral lips, and a python clutch added the perfect finishing touches.
Congratulations to Drew who sent me an email on Wednesday picking this dress for Marion which I added to my Red Carpet Wish List. It’s not the same colour, but it’s the same dress.
Looks like you got your wish Drew. I hope Cate Blanchett picks mine.

Earlier in the day, Marion attended “La Fete du Cinema” cocktail launch in Paris wearing another dress from a French fashion house. This time it was Lanvin.
You can see that her dark grey Lanvin twisted neckline dress is a not too distant cousin from the Pre-Fall 2009 dress which was presented on the runway.
I love the way this dress just drapes so elegantly on her, especially the neckline which has an interesting gathered detail.
Studded strappy sandals was an interesting footwear choice for this sophisticated look.

The shoes! I’m speechless.
I hope the first outfit will be a candidat for Best Dressed?!
yes it will
oh god, marion. that first outfit – if it’s not a contendor for best dressed of the week i might just have to stop reading this blog haha!
She looks so good!!!
oh wow, those wedges!
*ducks*
Can I just say I don’t really like the wedges?
But other than that – insanely good!
I’m not quite sure about the wedges as well.
i think the shoes work because it brings out the pink colour in the dress even more
Marion is the only one to really wow me this week, I hope she nominated for Best Dressed of the Week!!
OMG how can someone not like those breath-taking pair of wedges?,,they are out of this world, they are magical…
Is sooo nice when someone takes a shoe risk like this one, they are soo high, and fun, and beautiful and wonderful..
I really love marion for this risk, shoes like those we dont see anymore on the red carpet, specially since ysl tributes appeared ugh!
Insanely perfect – everything!
Wow, I’ve recently sent you my red carpet wish with that CD dress on Marion Cotillard!!! I’m amazed yet!
Marion looks crazy gorgeous and I dig the wedges too. The lift the whole outfit. I like pink and red together too.
Wow, no one caught it? But WTF is going on with the hem of that Lanvin?
I love those Dior wedges (and this is coming from a person who doesn’t really like wedges), but with that dress? I’m not so sure.
I’ve been waitinfg for Marion Cotillard to wear Lanvin.
I love both looks, especially the second. Wow.
She’s my new favorite… or “girl crush” as you like to put it!!
Very safe versions. Both of them.
Something happened to this woman and she lost it for me.
Hey fashion critic!
Do you know where I can buy those shoes online? Could you help me find a site where I could? Or maybe add it to the shop her closet section?
Thanks!!!
sorry I don’t
