Now there’s something you don’t see everyday, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy not wearing Dior.
The First Lady of France was with her husband French President Nicolas Sarkozy, when he addressed the houses of parliament at the Chateau de Versailles outside Paris this week.
She looked elegant wearing a black L’Wren Scott dress from the Spring 2008 collection whilst carrying a black bag with a gold handle.
This black wool fitted over-the-knee length dress has the unique combination of a sexy silhouette and a strict conservative line.
Effortlessly beautiful as always.

This was actually one of my favourite dresses from that collection, I’ve been trying to look for a similar version on the high street but no luck … I do wish she’d kept to the blue version though.
Jeez, that ‘s stunning!
Why is she not wearing makeup?? It seems like makeup is something you are not allowed to do if you’re the first lady!! In my opinion makeup is the thing you wear when you want to show that you are proud to be a woman.
I totally agree with your fashion sense. It is actually really nice in person.
She is just fabulous…
