Resort 2010 collection have started to be uploaded onto Style.com, and I’m really excited about the bright colourful pieces in many collections.
The floral prints, watercolour prints, and African prints, all leave me breathless, and eagerly awaiting their red carpet appearances.

Kate Moss has the honour of being the first to wear a piece from the 2010 Resort collections, as she wore this gold lame Marc Jacobs dress, to the Costume Institute Gala last month.

I agree..i was very happy with the amount of summery, colourful pieces and bright colours used in almost every resort collection. I especially loved Missoni, Thakoon, Jason Wu, DvF and Marc Jacobs. I was surprised by Prada and Miu Miu, which look like switched ther extetic for the 2 collections, and I was quite disappointed by the Gucci collection..so very dark and not summery at all.
I wasn’t feeling Gucci either, but at least this time it didn’t remind me of Zara
What an ugly dress the one which Kate Moss is wearing!
It’s really of bad taste
I hate the shoes Kate’s wearing more than the dress, although I really don’t like the exaggerated sleeve either…
Besides Gucci and the Kate Moss-look, I’m not disappointed!!
I’m also thrilled with so many colorful and printed pieces.
But I’m sure celebs will go out of their way to pick more boring pieces or modify interesting ones into lifeless versions.
Unfortunately you are so right.
Prada will most definitely be watered down.
