
Here is yet another post in which Topshop have been “inspired” by a runway design. Last time it was Alexander Wang. This time it is Alexander McQueen.
The McQueen black and white ombré fringed sleeveless dress, has a nude embroidered mesh bodice, whereas the Topshop dress, is a simplier black dress, with the same black and white ombré fringed overlay.
The Topshop version only cost £28, whereas the McQueen dress retailed at £4,165, before it sold out.

mcqueen wins this. although for the price the topshop dress is pretty good, but the mesh dress ruins it for me, i prefered the way alexander mcqueen had his, so it looks like the dress is magically on you. if that makes any sense. also i prefer the fringing to go to the bottom of the dress.
i might get the topshop dress and do a little modifications.
