Unlike Cannes Film Festival, we only saw one re-run from the MTV Movie Awards.
SAG Award nominated actress Keke Palmer, and High School Musical actress Ashley Tisdale have both worn this purple Elise Øverland leather dress on the red carpet.
Keke Palmer wore it with a pair of plain black pumps to the 2009 Nickelodeon’s 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards, whereas Ashely wore hers last night to the MTV Movie Awards.
Ashley heavily acccesorized her look with a studded Balenciaga belt, clutch and a Loree Rodkin snake coil ring.
I love Ashley’s look, but seeing it side by side with Keke, it feels like Ashley went overboard with the accessories, so Keke wins for me.

I aboslutely adore Ashley’s shoes!
I love Ashley Tisdale’s shoes and the dress looks much better with a belt, so she wins this for me.
keke definitely wins for me too. ashley is way overstyled and keke looks so classy and sassy.
I like that Ashley put a lot of thought into the accessories and really tried to make a ‘look’, but Keke easily wins this for me, it looks much less Ashley’s look feels too forced..
Keke not only wore it first, she looked better in it too. Ashley kind of looks like a drag queen.
