Elsa Pataky was one of the many glamorous celebrities in the front row at Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2009 presentation in Milan, back in March.

She wore a Dolce & Gabbana barqoue dress from the Spring 2009 collection, which was blooming with a gorgeous beige, gold and rose floral print, which she wore with gold platform heels.

Dita Von Teese hosted a party at the VIP Room, Point Croisette during Cannes Film Festival, wearing the same dress, but with a twist.

She opted for one of the rosette jeweled belts from the Spring 2009 collection to add a bit more punch to her look, but those fuschia satin heels would have sufficed.

As Dita over cooked this dress with the belt, I’ll give this to Elsa.

This Dolce & Gabbana dress is available from Luisa via Roma.com for €1,895.

Balmain has been everywhere recently, from it’s trendy crystal embellished jackets, to bottom skimming mini dresses.

Beyonce is a big fan. We’ve seen her in Barcelona wearing a white leather Balmain vest.

Also in New York wearing a stunning black gown for her ‘Obsessed’ movie premiere, and out to dinner in New York wearing a Sergeant Pepper-style jacket.

She’s currently in London, where she was spotted headed to Bungalow 8 nightclub on Sunday night. This time she was wearing a Balmain white linen military-style jacket.

This isn’t so much of a trophy jacket like the last heavily embellished Balmain jacket she wore, this one is much more versatile.

She looks good from the waist up. I never understood the appeal of denim look leggings.

Her sparkling Maison Martin Margiela’s Slouchy Disco Ball bag was found by Sxy Fashion Queen.

Much better.

I hadn’t been a fan of Kerry Washington’s two previous looks, but she sure knows how to make me fall in love again.

She arrived on the red carpet wearing a flesh coloured Zuhair Murad Spring 2009 gown, covered in navy blue floral embellishments and a velvet navy ribbon.

We’ve seen this silhouette a lot at Cannes, but her floor-sweeping fishtail tulle train added to the overall glamour of the look.

Her bouffant was bouncy with beautiful tumbling curls, whilst her make-up kept light.

Myleene Klass wore a very similar version of this gown last week.

Charlotte Gainsbourg won the best actress prize at the Cannes Film Festival last night for her role as a grieving mother in the film ‘Antichrist’.

She arrived at this premiere with her husband wearing a gold studded Balenciaga Resort 2009 shortened dress, which she wore with black strappy Balenciaga heels.

I love her carefree approach to fashion.

Asia Argento has had a fantastic run on the red carpet at Cannes, and it seems her preferred collections were from Roberto Cavalli and Armani Privé.

She picked another outstanding Armani Privé Spring 2009 gown for this premiere.

It had a sculptural detail on the shoulder and the skirt, which then trails off into a stunning train.

Her heels compliment the gown, and I love the print which lines inside of this magnificent gown.

Georgina Chapman wore a satin-faced silk organza dress from her Marchesa Spring 2009 collection, which is architecturally pleated to dramatic effect but it looks slightly flat whilst standing so close too her husband.

Satin Louboutin’s complete the look.

Isabelle Huppert and Asia, will have to fight it out for the honour of ‘Queen of Couture’ at this years Cannes Film Festival. Both have worn such magnificent pieces.

Isabelle has worn some cutting edge and risqué pieces, but on this occasion she opted for a Spring 2009 Chanel Couture gown which was so elegant, delicate, and sophisticated.

Zhang Ziyi looked like a fairytale princess in this wonderful blush pink paillette covered gown, which was cut very low at the back.

Her gown was paired with a silver clutch, and she may have been inspired Paris Hilton as she wore a jeweled hair accessory.

When I saw Robin Wright Penn wearing this shimmering sheer black gown, the first person to come to mind was Sharon Stone.

That’s not a good thing.

Shu Qi’s blue one-shouldered Roberto Cavalli gown was embellished around waist, and on the shoulder strap with black crystals.

Her sapphire blue earrings and ring, complimented her gown beautifully.

Anna Mouglalis wore an eye-catching green satin gown, with an exaggerating bow, as she smoldered for the cameras.

Keyshia Cole is currently on tour to promote her latest album ‘A Different Me’.

Last week Ciara and Monica joined her backstage in Atlanta. Monica was there to perform her latest single ‘Trust’ with Keyshia.

Showing Rihanna that she’s not the only R&B diva to wear Rodarte, Monica wore a nude sliced leather sleeveless Rodarte Spring 2009 top, with a mesh panel, plus a pair of jeans, and Gucci Iman ankle strap sandals.

It’s interesting to see the shift in some R&B diva’s style, since Rihanna started wearing designers like Balmain and Rodarte.

Kylie Minogue would’ve been the stand out guest, arriving wearing a hot pink strapless Dolce & Gabbana ruched cocktail dress with an embellished belt, and gold heels.

Love the colour and the confident sassy strut.

Eva Herzigova wore black sheer and lace sleeveless Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 dress with ruffled straps and a sheer front panel.

The straps have been replace by the runway sleeves, but this modification makes the dress even more sexier.

Eva completes the look with black peep-toes, which are trimmed with lace.

Of all the looks Peaches Geldof has sported at Cannes, I love this one.

It much more her style, than those gowns she has been wearing.

This silver ruched Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress is very much like Kylie’s dress, but with square paillette detailed pom pom sleeves.

It must have been a busy night because the hair, earrings and make-up all remain the same, from her previous events.

Lucky girl.

I believe this is the image they should put in a dictionary to describe ‘death warmed up’.

Pixie Geldof’s being pale is not the issue, its that heavy make-up which is so garish.

I do like her navy and white anchor print plunging halter D&G Spring 2009 gown, just not on her but I’m glad she opted out of the pleated gold lame fan pieces.

If you hate this look, it could’ve been worse because she was spotted at Dolce & Gabbana’s store in London trying on an animal print gown.

Olivia Palermo decided to ignore the unwritten rule of courtesy, by wearing a light blue off-the-shoulder dress not designed by her hosts.

Looking through the Dolce & Gabbana collection, I struggled to find a piece that I could’ve pictured her wearing, so I guess she made the right choice.

I adore the colour on her.  It’s a very pretty dress which she accessorizes with silver jewels.

Of course she is wearing her favourite YSL tribute sandals.

I guess she only packed one pair of heels for this trip.

Kerry Washington wore a Dolce & Gabbana silver cocktail dress with exaggerated off the shoulder sleeves.

Again, this is not a favourite Kerry look for me.

Dita Von Teese sticks to her trademark polished style wearing a black sequin Dolce & Gabbana dress, with exaggerated sleeves.

Her elbow-length lace gloves adding an extra touch of glamour, whilst her make-up was flawless and her necklace was striking.

Claudia Schiffer wore a black strapless Dolce & Gabbana gown with a black clutch, black peep-toes, and a single gold bracelet.

I know Carine Roitfeld is a style maven to many of you, so all I will say about this look is we all have our bad days.
