Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Beyonce Knowles had an intimate “I Am…” tour after-party, which took place at indigO2, following her own show at London’s O2 Arena this week.

Rihanna and Beyonce’s hubby Jay-Z, were both spotted at the after-tour party. Beyonce used the event to introduce little sister Solange, who performed several songs from latest album, ‘SoL-AngeL and The Hadley St. Dreams’.

It looks like it’s time to start putting together a “Beyonce’s Obsession – Balmain” post, because this girl can’t get enough of Christophe Decarnin’s designs.

On this occasion Bey wore a Balmain studded mini skirt, from the Spring 2009 collection, with a silver tank.

I love the look, but I would also like to see Bey wearing other designers before her look starts to becomes stale, and predictable.

I’m sure many of you will say she’s already stale and predictable.

Cameron Diaz looks amazing on the June 2009 cover of Vogue US.

She’s the epitome of good health and youthful vibrancy.

Her shoot with world renowned photographer Mario Testino, sees her in a desert-like atmosphere, wearing creamy beige and white organic designs, which will definitely get you in the mood for either booking a vacation, or shopping for one.

I couldn’t have thought of a better person for this summer issue.

Here are some extracts from her interview with Robert Sullivan:

On her new movie: “It’s about falling in love. It’s about all different kinds of love. Parents falling in love with their children. Children falling in love with their parents. Falling in love for the first time. Falling in love with being a teenager. All of the things that you fall in love with, that our hearts give way to over a lifetime, and then the heartbreaks when those things get taken away.

American Idol season 5 runner-up, Katharine McPhee, performed “Somewhere” at the 20th Annual National Memorial Day Concert, on the steps of The Capitol in Washington this weekend.

For her first performance she wore a floor-sweeping maxi print dress with a ruffled neckline, from Matthew Williamson’s Pre-Fall 2009 collection, which has a bohemian flair, you only get from a Matthew Williamson piece.

The dress was worn with an embellished belt, and she accessorized with a stack of gold bangles, a long necklace, and silver bauble earrings.

For her second performance, the 25-year-old singer duetted with pianist Lang Lang, performing “America the Beautiful”.

Again she wore Matthew Williamson, this time a satin taupe fitted dress, with a skirt that drapes elegantly from the waist.

I love embellished details on her sleeves, and around her waist, as it adds a touch of sparkle to this magnificent dress.

She opted out of the beaded runway necklace, instead adding a simple delicate necklace, which I prefer.

Nude ankle strap heels complete this stunning look.

Katharine was one of the many stars to attend Matthew Williamson’s New York store opening party back in February, during Fashion Week.

The store is located at 415 West 14th Street, New York, NY 10014.

Creative director Riccardo Tisci opted for some changes, for the Givenchy Fall 2009 advertising campaign.

Photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, gave way to Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who’s new creative approach, gave us a campaign in colour, and away from a studio.

Mariacarla Boscono, Tisci muse, is the only model who remains in the campaign, joined by Iris Strubegger, Leonor Scherrer, and newcomer Ranya Mordanova.

The other new addition, is the biggest surprise.

Guess who this demonic angel is.
