Runway To Sidewalk – Michael Jackson In Givenchy


I don’t normally blog on Saturday’s, but I wanted to catch up on the Cannes events before they started to pile up.

Whilst browsing photos I came across Michael Jackson wearing clothes from womenswear AGAIN.

You may remember the first time he was papped wearing a Balmain Fall 2009 top a few weeks ago, well this time he is wearing a gold studded top, and jacket from the Givenchy Fall 2007 collection.

The scary thing is, the look totally works for him.

Who knew cross-dressing Michael could look so chic?

2009 Cannes Film Festival – “Thirst” Press Conference & Premiere

With her loose wavy updo, South Korean actress Kim Ok-Vin looked radiant wearing a black and red floral Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2009 strapless dress.

She teamed her sleek and chic dress with gold and black criss cross sandals, gold jewels, and a black clutch.

On the same rainy night as Mimi’s premiere, Kim opted for yet another piece from the Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2009 collection.

This time she wore a sexy black halter-neck gown, with a lace overlay, paired with an ivory jeweled clutch for added glamour.

2009 Cannes Film Festival – “Precious” Premiere

On a rainy night in Cannes, Mariah Carey showed off her curves in a figure-hugging black Dolce & Gabbana gown with a rosette detail on her hip.

I love this look, and that sexy silhouette it gives her. For Mimi this is a very demure look.

I’m just glad she’s not spilling out of her gown, and that it appears to be the right size.

Her stunning Chopard jewels, and a satin black clutch completed the look.

Paula Patton added some much needed colour to the red carpet, on this cold and dreary night via this outstandingly beautiful Andrew GN Spring 2009 tangerine halter gown.

Her jewels were limited to just a ring, as the gown was decorative enough with the beaded neckline and jeweled waist band.

I’m glad she wore her hair back, and I love her neutral make-up.

Elizabeth Banks has had an outstanding week, with her Armani Privé and Andrew GN gowns.

Last night she wore a ice lamé column Zac Posen gown with white bow decorated heels.

Unfortunately for her the gown had a malfunction, with the zip coming apart at the back, which is a huge shame considering her fabulous week.
