There’s no shame in Topshop game. This is the second time they have been “inspired by” a piece from Alexander Wang Spring 2009 collection.
Topshop called their dress the Voodoo mesh corded tunic, I call it the De ja vu mesh tunic.
Topshop have shorten the sleeves in a bid to go undetected, but the mesh tunic and corded details are too similar to not see the clear inspiration.
Topshop sell theirs for £45, whilst the original sold out within minutes on Net-A-Porter for £680.

I saw this dress this morning and it costed 45 pounds… suddenly, it´s 90 pounds and there are only 3 sizes available
WOW, I can’t believe topshop did that
WTF they picked a ugly dress to copy, and putting the price up is shocking.
i have lots all faith in topshop, i know that sounds dramatic but seriously they used to be cheap but great value.
all i got to see is that you gotta be really brave (and in super good shape lol) to wear this dress. i dont like it that much..
I love the Topshop version much more than the Wang.
I much prefer the TOPSHOP version.
