Ginnifer Goodwin was the first celebrity to wear Matthew Williamson for H&M, but Nicky Hilton really loves the collection, as she owns many pieces.

She started off with the peacock dress, which was first worn by Katy Perry, then she was spotted walking in a park, wearing the fuchsia pink cardigan with a beaded peacock feather on the shoulder.

H&M must be loving the exposure she’s giving the brand, because she attended the Alberta Ferretti LA luncheon, wearing a bohemian Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti Aztec paisley dress, with an olive green Matthew Williamson for H&M cropped leather jacket.

Maybe she has the whole collection, because she was most recently spotted wearing the leather studded waistcoat, as worn by Mischa Barton at launch of the first collection.

The second collection goes on sale today, and I can guess which celebrity will be first in the queue.

Matthew Williamson’s first ever menswear collection, also goes on sale today.

It kind of annoys me when celebrities wear pieces from collections like this. H&M collaborate with Matthew Williamson to provide his designs to people who do not have as much money to spend as Nicky Hilton, and she goes and snaps up all the good pieces!
Having said that, she wears them very well!

I disagree. I think it’s great that celebrities wear affordable clothing once in a while. It shows you that you don’t have to have a very big budget (or debt) to wear trendy, stylish clothing.

Yet they still require the designer tag to some extent, perhaps? We don’t see them hanging around in Primark or New Look, so much.

I ended up buying jeans from the menswear collection today as they didn’t have the womens’ jeans in store and the smallest size of the mens’ fits, is cheaper, and a nicer cut! So it’s not all bad.

I personally like to celebs in clothes I own or can afford, but only occasionally.

When they dress in designer clothes, I’m more inspired by them.
