We all knew it would be hard for actresses to wear the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2009 pajama sets on the red carpet.
You may remember Jessica Alba getting it terribly wrong at the My Bloody Valentine 3D LA screening back in January.
Becki Newton, decided to give it a go at the preview of the Ugly Betty: The Rabbit Test episode, presented by the Paley Center for Media last night.
She opted for the cute Dolce & Gabbana pot print pajama shorts, which she wore with a Dolce & Gabbana bustier, a black tuxedo jacket, and black Christian Louboutin Etrier patent leather sandals, and it all works.
I really love what she did with this look, she broke up the runway look, and made it her own.
Definitely a Best Dressed Of The Week contender, for making what I thought was the impossible, possible.

Love those shorts – although I’ve just realised I’ve got a khaki polkadot pair from Primark which are pretty similar! I think the blazer really helped to make it not look like pajamas.
I really like this look!!! <3 the shorts look so cute now!
I've never liked the intent of D&G to make the pijama a trendy thing.
I'm shocked how it looks on Becky Newton. It's amazing!
I’m surprised this worked so well, congrats to Becki
i love it!
she is so working this!
Becki Newton really pulled this look off! She never fails to impress, but never seems to get the credit she deserves!
One more of those looks I mentally ‘reserved for myself’.
Even though I wish she went with the runway top as well, I like them oversized sleeves LOL, she looks good in her own combination, too.
I was so weirded out by that collection at first, but then it started growing on me. I want those shorts so bad. Wish I had 700 Euros.
